The PFF Top 25 got shaken up ahead of Week 10 of the college football season. After the College Football Playoff rankings caused a stir on Tuesday, PFF made a case for their rankings.

Evidently, PFF and the College Football Playoff committee don’t view certain teams the same. For example, PFF ranked the Oregon Ducks No. 10 — the College Football Playoff committee has Oregon as their No. 4 overall team.

Moreover, the big point of controversy earlier this week was the Oklahoma Sooners on the outside looking in. Disagreeing once again, PFF has the Sooners as their No. 4 team. Even though their 9-0, the Sooners have more skeptics than supporters.

The rest of the PFF Top 25 features more surprising twists — here’s their full rankings.

PFF Top 25 ahead of Week 10:

1) Georgia Bulldogs

2) Alabama Crimson Tide

3) Ohio State Buckeyes

4) Oklahoma Sooners

5) Cincinnati Bearcats

6) Michigan State Spartans

7) Wake Forest Demon Deacons

8) Michigan Wolverines

9) Texas A&M Aggies

10) Oregon Ducks

11) Notre Dame Fighting Irish

12) Auburn Tigers

13) Ole Miss Rebels

14) Baylor Bears

15) Houston Cougars

16) SMU Mustangs

17) Oklahoma State Cowboys

18) BYU Cougars

19) Coastal Carolina Chanticleers

20) NC State Wolfpack

21) UTSA Roadrunners

22) Kentucky Wildcats

23) Iowa Hawkeyes

24) Fresno State Bulldogs

25) Nevada Wolfpack

Biggest Movers:

Houston Cougars (+11). Last week, the Cougars weren’t even ranked by PFF. However, a huge win over undefeated SMU shot them up the rankings. Now 7-1, Houston can look forward to an eventual date with Cincinnati if they can remain undefeated.

Auburn Tigers (+5). Bryan Harsin is proving he can coach in the SEC. After a huge victory over Ole Miss, Harsin received immense praise from people who were skeptical in the past. There’s no telling how high they can climb if they defeat Texas A&M this weekend.

Michigan State Spartans (+4). The biggest win of last weekend went to the Spartans. PFF was skeptical of Michigan State, but Mel Tucker’s squad proved their for-real. The College Football Playoff rankings had them as No. 3, but PFF still showed some respect for the Spartans.

Iowa Hawkeyes (-14). It’s been a gigantic fall from grace for Iowa. After being ranked as high as No. 2 earlier this year, the Hawkeyes have stumbled down to No. 24 in the PFF Top 25. Two straight losses have sent their season into a tizzy.

Kentucky Wildcats (-10). Similar to Iowa, Kentucky feels their season slipping away from them. The Wildcats lost to the top team in the nation in Georgia, but compounded it with a loss to Mississippi State. Mark Stoops was fired up after their loss, and he’ll have to right the ship and get Kentucky’s season back on track.

Ole Miss Rebels (-6). The Rebels were steadily climbing, but tumbled down the PFF rankings with a loss to Auburn. Matt Corral’s Heisman chances took a hit, as the quarterback didn’t throw for a touchdown in the loss. Now, the Rebels will look to get-right this weekend against an old friend in Hugh Freeze.
