A new era is about to begin for the ACC with three new members – Cal, Stanford and SMU – joining next week. There’s also a slew of new faces on the field in the league, and they highlight Phil Steele’s Preseason All-ACC Team.

Two of Steele’s four preseason All-ACC quarterbacks came in from the transfer portal, headlined by Cam Ward. The new Miami signal-caller initially declared for the NFL Draft, but opted to return to college football and commit to the Hurricanes after two years at Washington State.

But he’s just one of the high-profile transfers taking on the ACC. Here’s the full breakdown of Phil Steele’s Preseason All-ACC team ahead of the 2024 season.
