Pittsburgh transfer QB Christian Veilleux commits to Georgia State
Former Penn State and Pittsburgh quarterback Christian Veilleux is joining Georgia State via the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has learned. Veilleux played in seven games for the Panthers last season, making five starts.
“I would like to thank the University of Pittsburgh, as well as coach Narduzzi, Coach Cignetti, and coach Bell. I had a great time here in Pittsburgh,” Christian Veilleux posted on X, when he originally entered the portal. “I will be entering the transfer portal with 2 years of eligibility.”
During two seasons with the Nittany Lions, he appeared in five games, completing 23 of 35 passes for 282 yards and three touchdowns. He then entered the transfer portal.

From Penn State, Veilleux went to Pittsburgh. He completed 94-of-184 passes for 1,179 yards and seven touchdowns, with eight interceptions last season. Veilleux originally signed with Penn State as a three-star prospect and the No. 35 quarterback in the country in the class of 2021, according to the On3 Industry rankings.
While Christian Veilleux has had an up-and-down college career thus far, he did help the Panthers to an upset win over No. 17 Louisville last season, passing for 200 yards and two scores in a 38-21 victory.
