Projecting seeds, schedule for 2022 ACC Tournament
There is just one week remaining in college basketball’s regular season. With only a couple of games remaining on the schedule of most teams in the ACC, the conference tournament picture is beginning to look more clear each day.
Duke remains the top team in ACC standings, but Notre Dame sits just one game behind the Blue Devils entering the final week of the regular season. UNC is just two games back, and Saturday’s regular season finale between the Blue Devils and Tar Heels at Cameron Indoor could prove to be a huge matchup as we enter the postseason.
With teams still fighting for a bid in the NCAA Tournament, the final week figures to be an exciting one. Here is a look at the standings in the ACC entering the final week, with another look at the ACC Tournament schedule.

If there is a tie between teams, the ACC has outlined the ways it will determine the tiebreaker for the tournament in its rulebook. In the case of a tie, head-to-head record is the initial tiebreaker. If the two teams split their regular season matchups, the ACC then looks for the team with the better record against “the team occupying the highest position in the final regular-season standings.”
If three or more teams are involved in a tie, then the ACC would use the teams’ combined league records and determine seeding based on “the winning percentage of the combined conference records.”
