QB Zane Flores has K-State, Ohio State trips lined up
Fresh off a new offer from the Washington Huskies, it appears Grenta (Neb.) High School three-star quarterback Zane Flores is about to have a very busy few weeks.
According to a report from The Athletic’s Mitch Sherman, the state champion quarterback will be on a visit to Kansas State on March 31 and Ohio State on April 4. Zane Flores also plans to visit Oklahoma State sometime in April. While the K-State and Ohio State visits are unofficial trips, he told Sherman that the visit to Oklahoma State might be an official one.
Zane Flores a hot QB target
Zane Flores, who is 6-foot-4 and 195 pounds, has seen his stock shoot through the roof in the spring.
Flores has been Gretna’s starting quarterback since his freshman year. He is the first known freshman to start varsity for the Dragons in school history. Gretna was the 2021 Nebraska Class A state champion led by Flores, as they took down Omaha Westside in the finals. As a junior, Flores threw for 2,885 yards and 26 touchdowns.
Flores has offers from K-State, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, Memphis, Washington, Bowling Green, Kansas and continues to get heavy interest from Missouri and Ohio State.
