The NCAA Transfer Portal seems to grow in size after every college football season, and following an array of high-profile coaching changes, the 2021 season was no different.

Among the big-name coaches to leave their respective spots: Lincoln Riley, who went from Oklahoma to USC; Brian Kelly, who went from Notre Dame to LSU; Mario Cristobal, who went from Oregon to Miami; Brent Venables, who went from Clemson to Oklahoma and many more. The changes in leadership — coupled with crowded rosters due to the COVID-19 season, after which players were granted an extra year of eligibility — resulted in a number of equally high name transfers: Caleb Williams from Oklahoma to USC, Jaxson Dart from USC to Ole Miss, Jahmyr Gibbs from Georgia Tech to Alabama and hundreds more.
