To say the transfer portal has been active this offseason would be an understatement. But according to On3’s Transfer Portal Rankings, the top two quarterbacks in the portal have yet to commit.

Former Oklahoma standout Caleb Williams and former USC star Jaxson Dart haven’t made their decisions yet even though rumors swirl about both. The other eight quarterbacks in the top 10 have committed and have a chance to make an impact on their new programs.

Here’s a closer look at the top 10 transfer quarterbacks, according to the On3 Transfer Portal Rankings.

The On3 Transfer Portal Rankings: Top 10 quarterbacks

10. Jayden de Laura

Jayden de Laura, a transfer from Washington State, announced his commitment to Arizona on Jan. 10. He’s a three-star college prospect after coming out of high school as a three-star.

9. Max Johnson

Max Johnson stayed in the SEC, transferring from LSU to Texas A&M. He’s enrolled at his new school and joins a talented Aggies recruiting class — which ranks No. 1 in the On3 Consensus Rankings.

8. Cameron Ward

Cameron Ward put his name on the map at Incarnate Word, going from an unranked high school prospect to four-star college quarterback. He committed to Washington State on Jan. 10 to replace de Laura after an impressive freshman year with the Cardinals.

7. Connor Bazelak

Connor Bazelak threw for more than 2,000 yards the last two seasons and transferred from Mizzou to Indiana this offseason. He headed to Columbia as a four-star prospect and stayed at that level in two full years with the Tigers.

6. Dillon Gabriel

Oklahoma lost Spencer Rattler and Caleb Williams to the transfer portal, but still managed to get an On3 top-10 replacement. Dillon Gabriel increased his stock at UCF, going from a three-star high school player to a four-star college player, and committed to Brent Venables and the Sooners on Jan. 3.

4. Spencer Rattler

Spencer Rattler went from potential Heisman finalist to backup quarterback this year for Oklahoma. He’s taking his talents to South Carolina and comes in at No. 4 despite seeing his rating drop from a five-star high school prospect to four-star college player.

3. Quinn Ewers

Quinn Ewers’ journey to Texas was an interesting one. The former Five Star Plus+ recruit reclassified to the Class of 2021 to enroll at Ohio State, but transferred to the Longhorns this offseason after playing in just one game for the Buckeyes.

2. Jaxson Dart

Dart is down to two teams as he goes through the transfer process, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine: Ole Miss and Oklahoma. Rebels coach Lane Kiffin is hot on his trail and he recently posted pictures in an Ole Miss uniform on a visit.

1. Caleb Williams

Williams shook the college football world with his decision to transfer from Oklahoma and he was almost immediately connected to his former coach, Lincoln Riley, at USC. However, On3’s Gerry Hamilton reported Tuesday that Wisconsin is making a strong push at the former five-star recruit — adding another interesting suitor for Williams’ services.
