3-star OT Raymond Pulido flips to Arizona from Alabama
Apple Valley (Calif.) three-star offensive tackle Raymond Pulido has flipped to Arizona from Alabama. The news was first reported by Andrew Bone of BamaInsider.
“We talked as a family,” Pulido’s father told Bone. “He is grateful for the Alabama experience, but the West Coast felt more like a better fit.”
Pulido is the No. 410 overall prospect and No. 24 offensive tackle in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 32 player in California.
On3 rates Pulido higher than other recruiting services, per the Industry Comparison. Even though he is not ranked in the 2023 On300, Pulido is the No. 30 player in California.
The 6-foot-6, 358-pound recruit previously took two visits to Tuscaloosa. His most recent trip to the Crimson Tide was on July 25.

Despite Pulido’s decision, Alabama’s 2023 recruiting class is still No. 1 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings. Head coach Nick Saban and his staff now have pledges from two offensive tackles: Tuscaloosa (Ala.) Northridge four-star Wilkin Formby and Windsor (Conn.) The Loomis Chaffee School four-star Olaus Alinen.
Meanwhile, Arizona’s 2023 recruiting class is No. 45 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 7 in the Pac-12. It contains two offensive tackles in Pulido and Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon three-star Elijha Payne.
Pulido has an On3 NIL Valuation of $9.5K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
