Recapping the top commitments from the weekend
Blue-chip commitments continue to flood in as the month of June winds down. Three top-100 recruits announced their college decisions over the weekend in what was the final week of official visits for the class of 2025 ahead of the summer dead period.
Below are some of the most notable commitments since Thursday.
2026 4-star QB Brady Smigiel — Florida State
School: Newbury Park (Calif.)
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 43 NATL. (No. 5 QB)
On300 Ranking: No. 199 NATL. (No. 16 QB)
Brady Smigiel committed to Florida State on Saturday, adding to the Seminoles’ No. 1-ranked class in 2026.
“Relationships made FSU right for me,” Smigiel told On3. Quarterbacks coach Tony Tokarz led the charge in recruiting him. “The way these coaches take care of the players is like nothing I’ve seen before.
“Tallahassee is a special place. It’s a town that really cares about the university and everyone loves to win.”
4-star IOL Carius Curne — LSU
School: Marion (Ark.)
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 84 NATL. (No. 5 IOL)
On300 Ranking: No. 25 NATL. (No. 1 IOL)
Carius Curne, a former Arkansas commit, chose the Tigers over Missouri and the Razorbacks.
“I love the history of the program,” Curne told On3. “The more I learned in the recruiting process about each school, the more I knew I wanted to play somewhere with the track record of playing for championships and developing top NFL talent. After visiting every school, I’m confident LSU has the best setup for me to be successful as a student-athlete.”
4-star EDGE Jesse Harrold — LSU
School: Tampa Robinson
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 100 NATL. (No. 15 EDGE)
On300 Ranking: No. 66 NATL. (No. 9 EDGE)
Jesse Harrold committed to LSU a week after his official visit to Baton Rouge.
“LSU was always consistent in the recruiting process and made it known they want to build something special with the 25 class and to be able to compete for a National Championship,” Harrold told On3. “Also they always preach graduate champions. And they make it clear they want to develop.”
4-star IOL Micah DeBose — Alabama
School: Mobile (Ala.) Vigor
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 123 NATL. (No. 9 IOL)
On300 Ranking: No. 159 NATL. (No. 11 IOL)
Micah DeBose chose Alabama over Florida, LSU and Ohio State. On3 National Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power provided an in-depth analysis of DeBose’s skill set and what stands out about his game.
“Micah DeBose is a nasty, physical road-grader. I think the first thing that jumps out when you watch his film is that this guy is looking to impose his will on whoever is in front of him. He’s violent. He works to finish his blocks. Has some emphatic pancakes when you watch him play. He just plays with a level of nastiness that you always covet in your offensive linemen.
“Obviously, he’s a big guy at close to 6-foot-4.5. Our most recent weight on him was around 330, 335. He shows good twitch off the line and really has that playing personality that you want to see, along with his want to seek out physical altercations on the football field.“
4-star RB Alvin Henderson — Auburn
School: Elba (Ala.)
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 147 NATL. (No. 8 RB)
On300 Ranking: No. 229 NATL. (No. 16 RB)
Alvin Henderson committed to Penn State on April 11 despite Auburn being a longtime favorite in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. On Friday, the Tigers flipped Henderson back to the home-state team.
“Auburn is home,” he told On3. “I really appreciate Penn State and I love it up there and their coaches, but Auburn is home. It always has been.”
4-star QB Antwann Hill — Memphis
School: Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 200 NATL. (No. 15 QB)
On300 Ranking: No. 291 NATL. (No. 23 QB)
Antwann Hill, a onetime Colorado commit, committed to Memphis on Saturday. The chance to make a serious impact on an up-and-coming program was a key factor for Hill.
“I like the development at Memphis and the opportunity to touch the field earlier there,” Hill told On3. “They are trying to build something there and get what they are doing known as much as possible. They win and with me being there, I feel like I could change the program. That’s what coach Silverfield and coach Cramsey were preaching to me.”
4-star LB DJ McClary — Rutgers
School: Jersey City (N.J.) Henry Snyder
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 203 NATL. (No. 20 LB)
On300 Ranking: No. 193 NATL. (No. 20 LB)
DJ McClary committed to Penn State back in September, but on Sunday decided to flip to the home-state program. Rutgers is off to a hot start in the 2025 cycle with 28 commitments, ranking No. 17 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
McClary’s older brother, Isaac Holmes, played at Rutgers from 2010-2013 and is now on the staff at McClary’s high school. McClary officially visited Piscataway in June.
4-star RB Jabree Wallace-Coleman — Penn State
School: Philadelphia Imhotep Institute
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 213 NATL. (No. 13 RB)
On300 Ranking: No. 153 NATL. (No. 10 RB)
Penn State landed a commitment from a top-10 running back in the 2025 class on Saturday in Jabree Wallace-Coleman.
“I have a great relationship with Coach [Ja’Juan] Seider and Coach Deion [Barnes],” Wallace-Coleman told BWI back in May. “Also, whenever I’ve been up there, I talk to Coach [James] Franklin a lot. He gives me good vibes. But they really try to build trust and keep in communication with me. They check in with me a lot and are always checking on me. I think with them, it’s bigger than football.”
4-star RB Donovan Johnson — Michigan
School: Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 239 NATL. (No. 15 RB)
On300 Ranking: No. 242 NATL. (No. 19 RB)

Donovan Johnson became the latest to commit to Michigan in a bit of a hot streak for the Wolverines. He officially visited Michigan over the weekend.
“I loved it up there,” Johnson said of his official visit to Ann Arbor. “I went up on Thursday for my official visit, then left Saturday and it was great. At IMG Academy, we preach brotherhood and that is exactly what I saw at Michigan. It felt like home for me up there. As soon as I walked in the door up there, I loved it.
“Michigan has great coaches, it is family-oriented, they develop players and the whole atmosphere makes it where I want to be.”
4-star SAF Amari Wallace — Miami
School: Miami Central
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 240 NATL. (No. 22 SAF)
Amari Wallace kicked the weekend off by committing to Miami on Thursday. He chose the hometown Hurricanes over the likes of Florida, Auburn and LSU.
After tripping to Coral Gables multiple times in 2023, Wallace returned to see The U for a Junior Day trip in January and also for an official visit this past weekend. He’s now the latest Miami Central product to pledge to Mario Cristobal and the Canes.
“They were showing me how nobody can do it better than them,” Wallace told CaneSport earlier this week about his most recent visit. “They really sit down with the kids, sit down with the parents. Coach Cristobal took recruits to his house – you really don’t get that from coaches, coaches don’t take you to their houses. What coach Cristobal did having the recruits come to his house, that was so good.”
4-star OT Mario Nash — Mississippi State
School: De Kalb (Miss.) Kemper County
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 282 NATL. (No. 23 OT)
Mario Nash joined Mississippi State’s class on Sunday while on his official visit to Starkville.
“It’s going pretty good with Mississippi State’s coaches,” Nash previously said. “They are consistent and they talk with me almost every day of the week. I have a good relationship with Coach Kennedy and we are pretty close.”
4-star EDGE Cortez Harris — Penn State
School: Upper Marlboro (Md.) Riverdale Baptist
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 288 NATL. (No. 26 EDGE)
On300 Ranking: No. 199 NATL. (No. 24 EDGE)
Cortez Harris committed to Penn State on Sunday following his official visit to State College.
“Man, it went great. I had a ball with Coach [James] Franklin and the guys,” Harris told On3. “My host was one of the players who grew up in D.C., my boy from Friendship Collegiate Academy, DeAndre Cook. I played against him before and we’ve had a good friendship ever since, so it was really good catching up with him and seeing how he’s doing.”
4-star IOL Nic Moore — Tennessee
School: Dandridge (Tenn.) Jefferson County
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 321 NATL. (No. 25 IOL)
On300 Ranking: No. 250 NATl. (No. 18 IOL)
Nic Moore chose to commit to Tennessee on Thursday just days after officially visiting Knoxville.
“This weekend, I came up Friday morning, and I talked to the coaches and spent time with them,” Moore said of what stood out about the visit. “We spent time with our host, and he was really telling us about everything that was going on at Tennessee and about the program because he had played wide receiver there. He was telling me about his experience, then we went tubing which was a lot of fun, we ate a lot of food, and spent time in player and coach meetings. It was a good weekend.”
4-star WR Emmanuel Choice — Oklahoma
School: Lancaster (Texas)
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 391 NATL. (No. 63 WR)
On300 Ranking: No. 249 NATL. (No. 36 WR)
Oklahoma added yet another blue-chip receiver to its class with Emmanuel Choice on Sunday. Choice took his official visit to Norman over the weekend.
