Red River Showdown: How Texas and Oklahoma match up as recruits
This year’s Red River Showdown might have a little less juice than it normally does, but that doesn’t make the rivalry any more bitter. Texas and Oklahoma not only have a long history of playing against each other, but the two programs compete for dozens of recruits — typically in the state of Texas — every single year. While both head into this year’s game at 3-2 with a whole lot of questions about their teams, what’s certain is that we’ll see a number of elite recruits from past cycles facing off.
