Reese's Senior Bowl to honor Tiger Bech with helmet sticker after death in Bourbon Street attack
The Reese’s Senior Bowl is honoring former Princeton football player Tiger Bech, who was killed in a terrorist attack on Bourbon Street early New Year’s Day.
Senior Bowl Executive Director Jim Nagy posted on Twitter Saturday morning that every player in the Senior Bowl will have a helmet sticker with No. 7 on it to honor Tiger Bech. In addition, Bech’s younger brother Jack Bech, who wore No. 18 at TCU, will wear No. 7 to honor Tiger Bech during the Senior Bowl.

Tiger Bech played high school football at St. Thomas More in Lafayette, Louisiana before going on to play for the Tigers. He graduated from Princeton in 2021 with a degree in finance and worked as a trader at Seaport Global, a New York brokerage firm, according to his LinkedIn profile.
As for Jack Bech, he was one of the top receivers in the Big 12 this past season, leading TCU with 62 receptions for 1,034 yards and nine touchdowns, earning himself a spot in the Senior Bowl.
Jack Bech paid tribute to his brother Tiger on Twitter after he was tragically killed.
“Love you always brother !” he wrote. “You inspired me everyday now you get to be with me in every moment. I got this family T, don’t worry. This is for us.”

The Senior Bowl is a postseason college football all-star game that takes place ahead of the NFL Draft. It is held annually in Mobile, Alabama. This year’s game will be played on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 2:30 p.m. E.T., with practices taking place throughout the week leading up to the game.
The tragic terrorist attack that took the life of Tiger Bech and others occurred around 3:15 a.m. on New Year’s Day as celebrations from the previous evening were wrapping up. A vehicle drove into a crowd near Canal and Bourbon Street, striking several people.
Tiger Bech was taken to the hospital and kept on life support until his family was able to come see him one last time.
Bech played wide receiver, quarterback, punt returner and defensive back at St. Thomas, earning all-state honors. He was also a member of the All-Acadiana Regional and All-District First Team as a senior. He also also lettered in lacrosse and track, leading the lacrosse team to a state title and reaching three state semifinals.
