Reggie Bush unveils new Heisman House portrait after formal return of his trophy
Reggie Bush is making his official return to The Heisman House.
Following the reinstatement of his trophy this spring, Bush has shared a video on social media where he hung his portrait in its halls as part of the well-known advertisement from Nissan.
The clip pans down the hallway past Alabama’s Mark Ingram along with Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield and Billy Sims. It then stops with Bush wearing his jersey from USC while hanging his portrait back amongst the greats.

In 2005, Bush rushed for 1,740 yards and 16 touchdowns on 200 carries, good for 8.7 per carry and 133.9 per game, for USC. He also had 478 receiving yards and two more scores to finish with 2,218 all-purpose yards and 18 total touchdowns. That won him The Heisman Trophy that season to be the second straight Trojan to do it after Matt Leinart.
Bush saw his Heisman Trophy reinstated back in April after he had been stripped of it back in 2010 as part of sanctions against the Trojans with him receiving what at the time were improper benefits during his three-year collegiate career in Los Angeles.
Earlier this year, especially in light of the new era of college athletics, though, the Heisman Trust elected to return the honor back to Bush. However, Bush is still continuing his defamation lawsuit against the NCAA. He has also recently hinted at a documentary that would further share his side of this nearly two decade-long story.

Bush’s absence from the Heisman ceremony and branding had been a major disappointment over the last several years. Now, though, he is moving back in with this tease for the ads during this upcoming season.
Bush’s returned Heisman Trophy has new home at USC’s football facilities
Reggie Bush officially got his Heisman Trophy back in April. The award’s trust reinstated the honor to Bush earlier this year in reversing the decision to strip him of the honor.
Bush was always adamant about getting his Heisman back following the current state of college athletics involving NIL. As of July, it’s now officially back where it belongs
Bush attended USC from 2003 to 2005 and had one of the best careers in college football history. He won a pair of national titles, as well as the Heisman Trophy, during his time with the Trojans. That was before being selected with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft.
