Cypress (Texas) Bridgeland three-star tight end Reid Mikeska has been committed to Miami since June, but a new team is trending to land him in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) less than 24 hours until National Signing Day.

After expert picks from On3 national recruiting analyst Sam Spiegelman and GamecockCentral.com insider Wes Mitchell, South Carolina is now favored to flip Mikeska from the Hurricanes. The RPM gives the Gamecocks an 80.5 percent chance of completing the flip.

The 6-foot-6, 230-pounder committed to the Hurricanes on June 19 after previously being committed to Clemson. But South Carolina has stayed involved with him after missing out both times previously.
