Report reveals which SEC teams will be featured in Netflix docuseries
SEC fans have something to look forward to in the summer, with Netflix releasing a docuseries on the 2024 season. Eight different episodes will be released as the people at home get an inside look at multiple programs. And now, exactly which schools are involved has been revealed.
According to Brett McMurphy of the Action Network, 11 of the 16 SEC teams will be involved in the docuseries. McMurphy listed out the five not participating, being some of the biggest brands the conference has — including its two newest members.
“SEC football programs not participating in Netflix series are Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Ole Miss & Texas, source said,” McMurphy said via X. “… Remaining 11 SEC schools will be featured in Netflix series next summer.”
McMurphy added that Seth Emerson of The Athletic was first to report the news.
Here are the remaining 11 schools set to be featured according to McMurphy’s report — Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.
Of those teams, just one wound up making the College Football Playoff. Tennessee enjoyed a 10-2 regular season before earning an at-large bid in the 12-team field. Getting to see Josh Heupel‘s team go through some of the highs and potentially two lows will be fun for fans in Knoxville to see.

Another program of interest down the stretch was South Carolina, rattling off six straight wins. While they fell short of the CFP, the Gamecocks were arguably the hottest team in college football as Shane Beamer continues to find success.
“A Netflix Sports series following the 2024 SEC college football season is coming Summer 2025,” a statement from Netflix read. “Providing unfiltered access to coaches and players in college football’s most dominant conference and giving an exclusive look at key matchups throughout the season.”
No official release date has been announced for the series quite yet. However, fans across the entire SEC will be tuning in once available, hoping to get a glimpse at their favorite team.
