Richard Isaacs Jr., 2022 4-star, commits to Texas Tech
Richard Isaacs Jr., a 6-foot-2 point guard out of Henderson (Nev.) Coronado has committed to Texas Tech basketball for the class of 2022, he tells On3.
Isaacs is the Red Raiders’ first commitment of the 2022 class. Texas Tech is also targeting Yohan Traore, Brendan Hausen, Zach Keller, Denzel Aberdeen, among others.

Isaacs chose the Texas Tech Raiders ultimately over Oklahoma State, Arizona State, and UNLV but also received offers from Kansas, LSU, Florida State, among others.

“I chose Texas Tech because of the trust I have with the staff,” Isaacs said. “They don’t have a point guard right now and they’re going to put the ball in my hands from day one. Also, it was a family environment and it felt like home.”
