Robert Griffin III trolls Florida State after Seminoles start season 0-3
Florida State’s season is headed toward an early grave following a loss to Memphis to move to 0-3 to start the year. And college football analyst Robert Griffin III is here to dance on it.
After the Seminoles fell to the Tigers, 20-12, Griffin took to Twitter and rolled out the jokes. He started with a meme, and opted for simplicity.
Griffin posted a screengrab of Nicole Kidman’s character from “The Stepford Wives” — now a popular meme — and simply wrote “Florida State.”
But Griffin was not yet done, choosing to revisit social media user 321Nole, who famously promised to eat dog feces out of a red Solo cup if the Seminoles lost to Boston College.
“This Florida State fan must be in sh*tless protection at this point,” Griffin said.

Even Mike Norvell’s postgame presser didn’t go to plan
Not even the press conferences are going well for the Seminoles. Norvell was addressing the media following the game and in the background, you can hear the fire alarms going off. “Attention, there is a fire emergency in the building. You are to leave the building by the nearest exit or exit stairwell” is being played in the background.

Once Norvell wrapped up his answer — discussing how Florida State will continue to work despite struggling through three games this season — the press conference was over. He shuffled out of the room before the video provided on social media was cut off.

Florida State got an early start to the season, facing Georgia Tech in Dublin. One week later, they were once again in primetime against Boston College, taking place on Labor Day. Both wound up being highly-showcased losses, highlighted by the struggles of the offense and quarterback DJ Uiagalelei.
Coming out of a bye week gave Norvell an opportunity to reset his team and move forward.
But losing to Memphis is another huge step back. Norvell admits everybody inside the program needs to be better but does credit his players for continuing to work through the struggles.
“We all have to do a better job,” Norvell said during his postgame press conference. “…We can’t continue to come into games and see things that are absolutely not a part of who we are show up. So we all have to prepare better… These guys have not stopped working.”
