Robert Lewis: Georgia State WR schedules visits to Auburn, Cincinnati
Georgia State transfer receiver Robert Lewis has scheduled his first two visits of his portal recruitment, a source tells On3.
The former three-star recruit has developed into one of the top wideouts in the Sun Belt Conference. With one year of eligibility remaining, Lewis has visits to Auburn and Cincinnati. He will be on The Plains this weekend, spending time with Hugh Freeze‘s staff. The receiver also plans to visit the Bearcats from Dec. 16 to 17.
He ranked in the top 10 in the Sun Belt in receiving yards (877) this season, along with seven touchdowns and averaging 73.08 yards per game. According to the source, Lewis has also received interest from Mississippi State, Texas Tech, South Carolina, Purdue and Louisville.
The Georgia State transfer flashed his skills in Week 3 of the season, breaking the program’s single-game record with 220 receiving yards on just six catches and two touchdowns. Robert Lewis is ranked as the No. 23 receiver in the portal, according to On3.
