Prediction
It’s going to be very tight early on between the Scarlet Knights and the Hokies. Expect some bonus points to fly around and it’ll be key to limit them to win the dual. Plus, upsets could really shake things up.
Based on match projection, and the possibility there’s no No. 19 Connor Brady at 165 for the Hokies, it’s looking like a Virginia Tech lead at the break (after five matches), but Rutgers has the distinct advantage in the three upper weights with Soldano, Poznanski and Slavikouski. With that, we’ll give the nod to Rutgers for a signature win early in the year.
Rutgers wins 20-13
