Ryan Williams reveals which team he won five national championships with in CFB 26 video game

Being on the cover of College Football 26, Ryan Williams already has a copy of the game in his hands. Some early access has allowed the Alabama wide receiver to get a dynasty going already. While it might be safe to assume Williams plays as the Crimson Tide, he actually started a save with a different program.
UCLA has multiple national championships, with Bruins fans having Williams to thank. He plays at the highest level but due to on-field success and recruiting at a high level, the game has maybe become a little too easy for him. Potentially similar to the head coach Williams committed to coming out of high school.
“I have a UCLA dynasty, right? And we’re like, seven-time back-to-back champs,” Williams said. “I’m like Nick Saban, I’m going to be honest. We haven’t lost a game. I put it on Heisman but my players are now all good because they’ve been with me for so long.”
So why does he not play with Alabama, attempt to get the dynasty restarted? Williams claims it’s “too easy” with the Crimson Tide. Not only would the wide receiver be controlling himself but all of his teammates as well. UCLA was a nice medium for him in the beginning.
“It’s just too easy when I play with Alabama,” Williams said. “I had to go not too low but somewhere in between.”

Williams might be hoping to go on a real-life national championship run of his own. Two more seasons remain before he likely declares for the NFL Draft, wanting to leave Tuscaloosa with a couple of rings on his fingers. If only it were as easy as controlling UCLA with his XBOX or PS5.
More on Ryan Williams, dynamic freshman season at Alabama
Williams brought some massive recruiting hype with him to Tuscaloosa. Decommitting following Saban’s retirement, Kalen DeBoer was quickly able to get him back on board. The first massive win on the recruiting trail for DeBeoer, at the time, paid off in a big way during the 2024 season.
In 13 games played, Williams caught 48 passes for 865 yards and eight touchdowns. None more famous than the game-winner against Georgia, running down the sideline in Bryant-Denny Stadium to give Alabama the win.
A new quarterback will be ushered into the starting role, only increasing the expectations for Williams as a sophomore. Video game numbers might be put up, even against SEC defenses.
