The FCS college football playoffs got really fun on Friday night between Sacramento State and Incarnate Word. Sacramento State running back Marcus Fulcher decided to do something you might have seen in the old USFL games back in the 1980s. First, he ripped off a 35-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter by dodging a few defenders. But once he found the end zone, Fulcher decided to share a beer with one of the fans in the back of the end zone.

Check it out here as he shares an ice cold one with one of the fans, and politely gives it back to him.

Mark Fulcher’s touchdown celebration will go down in FCS lore

It will definitely go down as one of the all-time classic touchdown celebrations, that’s for certain. End zone celebrations are a big part of what make the game so great and highlight reel plays taking over the internet will make more fans to tune in to the FCS playoffs.

Whether or not the junior or his team will face consequences for the celebration remains to be seen.

Later in the second quarter, Fulcher dropped a wide-open touchdown pass around the 6-yard line. In the first half, the Sacramento State tailback had 72 all-purpose yards and a touchdown. Friday night’s game between the Incarnate Word Cardinals and the Sacramento State Hornets is a quarterfinals matchup in the FCS Playoffs.

While Fulcher made some headlines for his touchdown celebration, Incarnate Word quarterback Lindsay Scott, Jr. threw his 57th touchdown pass of the season on Friday night, according to ESPN Stats & Info. He tied the FCS single-season record set by Sam Houston State’s Jeremiah Briscoe in 2016. Scott also tied the Division I record for touchdowns responsible for (57 passing, 8 rushing) set by Joe Burrow and Bailey Zappe.

Incarnate Word led Friday night’s game at halftime 28-17. Scott racked up over 150 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns in the first half.
