The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine has Ohio State trending for Millersburg (Ohio) Pickerington North three-star running back Sam Williams-Dixon after recent industry expert projections

According to the recent updates, the Buckeyes now hold a 56% chance to land a commitment from Williams-Dixon. Kentucky sits not too far behind at 41%.

Ohio State extended an offer to Williams-Dixon back on January 11.

“It was just a dream come true,” Williams-Dixon told Lettermen Row about the offer. “Just a kid from Ohio getting offered meant a lot to me and my family, and just gave me even more motivation than before.”

Williams-Dixon has visited Ohio State three times with his most recent coming on March 7. He told lettermen Row that he plans to take his commitment slow and not rush a decision but that he enjoyed his last visit and getting to talk with Ohio State running backs coach Tony Alford.

“It was more football talk,” Williams-Dixon told Lettermen Row. “Instead of about life, it was more football talk and I enjoy talking football with him.

“We were going over gameplans, how to gameplan, how he prepares players throughout the week, so stuff like that.”

Williams-Dixon is the No. 599 overall prospect and No. 57 running back in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 23 player in Ohio.

Williams-Dixon currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $25K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
