Updated schedule, bracket, TV heading into Day 3 of the 2023 NCAA Super Regionals
It’s Sunday of Super Regional weekend, meaning one thing. A few tickets to the College World Series are going to be punched. Something every team in the country has been working toward all season, a few flights are going to be booked to Omaha in the near future. In what has been an exciting NCAA Tournament, we are nearing the final eight teams.
Two tickets to Omaha were punched on Saturday. Florida was the first to advance to the College World Series with a 4-0 win and sweep of South Carolina in the Gainesville Super Regional. The Gators were joined as ticket holders to Omaha by TCU, which completed the sweep of Indiana State on Saturday evening with a 6-4 win over the Sycamores in the Forth Worth Super Regional.
To no surprise, weather played a huge factor in the schedule on Saturday. Plenty of games were pushed back due to rain/lightning being in the area. The Hattiesburg did not complete Game 1 on Saturday due to weather. The game was suspended in the fourth inning with Southern Miss leading Tennessee, 4-0.
Everyone will be hoping Mother Nature stays away on Sunday, leaving us with a full, great day of baseball.
