The SEC again proved that it is an extremely strong baseball conference this season. A lot of the attention goes to Tennessee, who has been ranked at the top all season long. But the conference is filled with quality clubs. Following the conclusion of the regular season, the conference announced awards and All-SEC teams from this baseball season.

The tremendous talent across the SEC will be on display this week, with the conference baseball tournament set to begin on Tuesday. Tuesday’s slate features No. 6 Georgia vs. No. 11 Alabama, No. 7 Florida vs. No. 10 South Carolina, No. 8 Vanderbilt vs. No. 9 Ole Miss, and No. 5 Auburn vs. No. 12 Kentucky. Tennessee (No. 1), Texas A&M (No. 2), Arkansas (No. 3), and LSU (No. 4) earned byes into Wednesday. Missouri and last year’s national champions, Mississippi State, failed to make the SEC Tournament.

The SEC also has multiple teams ranked in the latest D1Baseball Top 25, with more teams included in the projected NCAA Tournament field.
