SEC announces kickoff time for Week 10 matchup between Alabama, LSU
The Alabama Crimson Tide and LSU Tigers will play each other in primetime in Week 10 after a bye on Saturday. With both teams now in the top 25, the matchup has gained much-deserved hype, which could be why they nabbed the 7 p.m. ET slot on ESPN.
The Alabama-LSU is just one of several Week 10 games that could drastically impact the final outcome of the regular season and the postseason. Nick Saban’s Tide cannot afford another loss on their resume for the College Football Playoff committee. They’ll take on the resurgent Tigers in unfriendly territory down in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Alabama versus LSU starts after the highly anticipated Georgia–Tennessee game. The Vols and Bulldogs kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

Alabama hoping to stave off resurgent Tigers
Despite playing on the road, Alabama will inevitably be heavily favored by the oddsmakers and analysts versus LSU. The Tide owns 10 of the last 11 victories in the series. The Tigers’ lone win of the decade was in 2019. In that matchup, Ed Orgeron’s squad got off to a 33-13 lead at halftime and although they mustered a 21-point fourth quarter, the Crimson Tide couldn’t complete a comeback.
In Week 8 action, Alabama took down Mississippi State 30-6 while the LSU Tigers shocked Ole Miss with a 45-20 win. Starting quarterback Jayden Daniels earned the SEC’s offensive player of the week award for his performance. Daniels passed for two touchdowns against the Rebels, and added three more scores with his legs. He completed 21-of-28 passes for 248 yards, amassing 121 rushing yards. He became the first quarterback in program history to rush for 100 yards and pass for 200 in the same game twice in one season.
