SEC announces TV times, channels for matchups in Week 9
The SEC has shared its schedule for the final weekend of games in the month of October.
The six matchups that day in the Southeastern now have kickoff times and television designations.
- Oklahoma at Ole Miss – 12 p.m. on ESPN or ABC
- Arkansas at Mississippi State – 12:45 p.m. on SEC Network
- Texas at Vanderbilt – 3:30 p.m. or 4:15 p.m. on ABC or SEC Network
- Missouri at Alabama – 3:30 p.m., 4:15 p.m., or 7:30 p.m. on ABC or SEC Network
- LSU at Texas A&M – 3:30 p.m., 4:15 p.m., or 7:30 p.m. on ABC or SEC Network
- Auburn at Kentucky – 7:45 p.m. on SEC Network
*All times listed as Eastern
Of the six, though, only three have determined start times while only two have determined channels. Half of the games have flex options ranging from the afternoon to the evening while two-thirds of them are going to be on one of two possible channels on October 26th.
The two games that are locked in are Arkansas at Mississippi State and then Auburn at Kentucky. The Razorbacks will go and play the Bulldogs in Starkville at 12:45 p.m. while the Tigers will travel to face the Wildcats in Lexington at 7:45 p.m.. Both of those matchups will be on the SEC Network.
Oklahoma at Ole Miss is also essentially set with a noon kickoff from The Grove. It’s just uncertain whether the Sooners and Rebels will play on ESPN or ABC.
From there, the three remaining games could all be flexed for one another depending on how the slate is set up for that day. Texas at Vanderbilt, Missouri at Alabama, and LSU at Texas A&M could all be at either 3:30, 4:15, or 7:30 on that Saturday. Depending on which time slots each one gets, it’ll determine which two are on ABC at 3:30 and 7:30 and which one is on the SEC Network at 4:15.
