Much has been made about the dominance by the SEC in college baseball, especially over the course of the postseason. Now, with their three teams still alive at the College World Series, the conference couldn’t help itself from showing off a bit in Omaha.

In a tweet from Tuesday morning, the SEC revealed a digital banner in Omaha that reflected each of their three programs, Florida, LSU, and Tennessee, remaining in the CWS field. On top of that, the banner and the post deemed the city as the league’s ‘home away from home’.

Of the 64 team field for the NCAA Tournament, 10 teams, so 15.6% of the bids went to SEC programs. That’s not even including the conference’s upcoming members in Texas or Oklahoma. Of the 16 regional hosts to open the tournament, half of them went to programs out of the Southeastern Conference in Florida, Arkansas, LSU, Vanderbilt, Alabama, South Carolina, Auburn, and Kentucky.

Then, with 16 spots available in the Super Regional round, the SEC claimed six of those. Two of the eight matchups in that round actually featured an SEC vs. SEC matchup with Florida advancing over South Carolina and LSU eliminating Kentucky.

With the tournament reaching the final stage of the College World Series, Tennessee managed to join the Gators and the Tigers in Omaha. However, either the Volunteers or Tigers will be leaving later on today as the two squads will square off again in what will be an elimination game.

Still, routinely dominating the field, both by selections and with play, is something worth flexing for from the SEC. The only question now is determining if any of the trio can manage to bring a fourth consecutive national title back to the conference with them.

How to Watch: Tennessee vs. LSU in the College World Series

Tennessee will get a rematch with LSU during a second straight College Baseball World Series game, with first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m. Eastern Time. The game will be televised by ESPN from Charles Schwab Field in Omaha.

The Vols (44-21) stayed alive on Monday afternoon by eventually rallying from down 4-0 to beat No. 8 Stanford 6-4. LSU, the No. 5 seed, lost 3-2 to No. 1-seed Wake Forest Monday night, after the Demon Deacons rallied from down 2-0.

The Tigers sent Tennessee to the elimination bracket with a 6-3 win over the Vols on Saturday night. LSU led Wake 2-0 after the third inning Monday night, but Wake scored two runs in the sixth and another in the eighth.
