Noel and Nussmeier shared and were Co-Offensive Players of the Week for their respective outings in wins against Vanderbilt and UCLA. Noel posted a career-high in rushing with 199 yards, which is also most by anyone in the league this season. Nussmeier then had his second-best passing yardage and most this season with 352 yards on 72.7% completion while also throwing three touchdowns.

Metcalf took home Defensive Player of the Week on his own for what he did in the Razorbacks’ secondary. He posted four tackles and had two deflections in coverage against the Tigers. However, he also accounted for three of the five turnovers on The Plains with a forced fumble that was recovered and a pair of interceptions with him taking one apiece of off the two quarterbacks for Auburn. One of the deflections also led to another one of the interceptions by Arkansas.

Tennessee then earned half of these honors following their Top-15 win at Oklahoma on Saturday. Iamaleava did lose two fumbles in his conference debut but had 194 passing yards with a 66-yard score to win SEC Freshman of the Week. That is his third such honor of the season which already has tied a program record for the Vols. Josephs was Co-Defensive Lineman of the Week after putting up three tackles, one being for loss, and forcing two fumbles and recovering one in the red zone from the Sooners. Finally, Gilbert went five-for-five, three field goals, including a long of 41, and two extra-points, to close out the 10-point victory in Norman.

Conference play will now really kick off this weekend with ten teams playing one another between five games in the Southeastern Conference.
