The SEC announced its Players of the Week on Monday, and stars from Alabama, Florida and Georgia made the cut this time around.

Alabama guard Mark Sears shared the Co-Player of the Week honors with Florida forward Alex Condon, while Georgia forward Asa Newell was named the SEC Freshman of the Week.

All three players made major impacts during a significantly positive week for their teams.

Sears helped Alabama post back-to-back road wins over South Carolina and No. 10 Texas A&M. He scored 27 in the game against the Aggies, while also dishing out four assists, pulling down two rebounds and recording one steal.

He was equally proficient in the earlier game against the Gamecocks. He chipped in 222 points, six assists and three rebounds in that contest.

That was enough for Alabama to record two critically important wins in SEC play.

Condon, meanwhile, was a force on the glass for Florida and helped spring a massive upset of No. 1 Tennessee. Florida rolled 73-43 and Condon chipped in a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. He also tossed out four assists and blocked two shots in the game.

Condon is the first player in the nation this century to go for 12 points, 12 rebounds and four assists without a turnover vs. the No. 1 team, according to the SEC.

The Florida sophomore then followed it up with another double-double (12 points and 10 rebounds) in a road game at Arkansas. He once again added four assists, this time blocking three shots.

Finally, Newell earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors after helping lead the Bulldogs to back-to-back wins over ranked teams, first No. 6 Kentucky and then No. 17 Oklahoma.

Newell chipped in 17 points and seven rebounds in the win over the Wildcats, also adding two assists, a block and a steal.

In the win over the Sooners, Newell scored 15 points and hauled in five rebounds, while also adding a pair of blocks.
