The latest SEC Power rankings are in from our On3 experts after Week 11 of the college football regular season.

Georgia and Alabama are bound together once again as the two schools will see each other in the conference title game. But there are still two weeks to go.

Let’s dive into the latest SEC Power Rankings courtesy of our panel of On3 experts.

1. Georgia

(Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports)

This was a butt kicking from the Bulldogs, a 52-17 win over Ole Miss. Expected to be a good one, Georgia ran away from the Rebels.

No change here, Georgia is the No. 1 team in the SEC and could very well be the No. 1 team when it comes to the College Football Playoff rankings Tuesday night. Can’t wait for the Alabama matchup.

2. Alabama

(Jordan Prather-USA TODAY Sports)

The Crimson Tide were also dominant, this time with a win over Kentucky. Jalen Milroe threw and ran for six total touchdowns, impressive stuff.

Alabama stayed at No. 2 this week as, of course, the Crimson Tide are the best team not named Georgia. Again, get ready for that SEC title game in a few weeks.

3. LSU (+2)

(Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports)

LSU ran past Florida 53-35 in a shootout at home. Jayden Daniels should be in the Heisman conversation, if not the favorite for the award.

So with that win, LSU moves up two spots in the power rankings with other teams faltering as well. The Tigers probably wish they didn’t have near misses earlier in the year.

4. Missouri (+2)

(Saul Young/News Sentinel / USA TODAY NETWORK)

What Georgia loss? Eli Drinkwitz and company erased their memories and took down Tennessee 36-7 at home to improve to 8-2, plus moved up in the power rankings.

Cody Schrader was a man possessed in this one. He ran 35 times for 205 yards and a touchdown. Brady Cook threw for one and ran for another in the route.

5. Ole Miss (-2)

(Joshua L. Jones / USA TODAY NETWORK)

Boy, that was tough to watch. Ole Miss looked like it was in the game early on but Georgia was just too good. Lane Kiffin basically admitted as much after the game.

The Rebels dropped two spots in the power rankings and after pondering the possibility of an 11-1 Ole Miss team causing playoff havoc, we can put that dream to bed. Goodnight.

6. Tennessee (-2)

(Saul Young/News Sentinel / USA TODAY NETWORK)

Speaking of Tennessee, as mentioned above, was just outplayed by Missouri Saturday. A tough loss dropped the Volunteers to 7-3.

It’s amazing how it’s been a solid season, but it certainly doesn’t feel like it after the success of 2022. Perhaps Tennessee can finish it out nicely, go 9-3 and get a good bowl game to play for that 10th win.

7. Texas A&M (+1)

(Maria Lysaker-USA TODAY Sports)

Well, this is awkward. Texas A&M blew out Mississippi State and caused, maybe unintentionally, a domino effect. The school fired head coach Jimbo Fisher after win No. 6.

With that, Mississippi State fired head coach Zach Arnett, more on that later. Fisher is the story right now and that massive buyout. Where does the school go from here?

8. Kentucky (-1)

(Jordan Prather-USA TODAY Sports)

Kentucky, since that 5-0 start, is 1-4. It’s been a brutal stretch for the Wildcats and they were never really in the game against Alabama, a 49-21 loss.

The loss dropped Kentucky down one spot in the rankings, but the squad is still in the middle of the pack. But that’s pretty much as good as it’s going to get this year.

9. Auburn (+1)

(Brett Rojo-USA TODAY Sports)

Auburn absolutely dominated Arkansas and regardless of what you think of the Razorbacks this year, this was a complete performance for the Tigers. Hugh Freeze and company are going bowling!

The win pushed Auburn up one spot in the rankings, good enough. The rebuilding is coming along nicely, so it’ll be interesting to see how Auburn finishes out the 2023 regular season.

10. Florida (-1)

(Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports)

Man, Florida giveth and Florida taketh away. That’s the theme with Billy Napier’s squad. He’s had big wins on the recruiting trail, although some losses too, and some big wins on the field, although some losses too. See what we mean?

The Tennessee win seems so long ago at this point. Now at 5-5, Florida just needs one win in its last two to get bowl eligible. At Missouri and then hosting Florida State? That’s rough.

11. South Carolina (+2)

(Jeff Blake-USA TODAY Sports)

Don’t call it a comeback! The Gamecocks are now 4-6 with the 47-6 win over Vanderbilt. While that’s not saying too much, South Carolina is still alive for bowl eligibility.

To finish out the year, South Carolina hosts Kentucky and rival Clemson. Gotta say, there’s a chance here for Shane Beamer to get back to the postseason.

12. Mississippi State (-1)

(Maria Lysaker-USA TODAY Sports)

Well, we have to circle back to Mississippi State and Zach Arnett. Arnett was fired following the loss to Texas A&M and he never really got a chance to get going.

Arnett took over after the unfortunate passing of former head coach Mike Leach. He kept the program afloat, but the administration elected to go in a different direction. A shame.

13. Arkansas (-1)

(Brett Rojo-USA TODAY Sports)

Arkansas just suffered another blowout victory and Sma Pittman’s days just look numbered at this point. For now, the Razorbacks saved face with the firing of Dan Enos the other week.

But at 3-7, there might not be time to save Pittman. He just couldn’t quite get over the hump and this season’s been pretty brutal.

14. Vanderbilt

Speaking of brutal, Vanderbilt fell to 2-9 with the loss at South Carolina. This is a really hard job considering the conference, resources and the school being behind the eight ball considering the other teams.

Clark Lea pushed all of the right buttons last season, but nothing’s gone right in 2023. This is going to be a very important offseason.

Well there you go. There are the latest rankings and with two weeks to go, we can probably tell who the best of the best is in the SEC.
