SEC reveals Player of the Year, other 2021 postseason individual awards

The SEC revealed its 2021 postseason individual awards on Wednesday, naming the offensive, defensive and special teams players of the year, along with coach of the year and other honors.

Alabama led the way with three of the SEC’s 2021 postseason individual awards, with Georgia claiming two. Other schools which received representation include Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee.

On Tuesday, the SEC announced its 2021 All-Conference teams, including nine athletes who have made multiple appearances on the postseason All-Conference list over the course of their SEC careers. The SEC will continue releasing more honors throughout the week with All-Freshman teams set to be revealed on Thursday.

Special Teams Player of the Year – Jameson Williams (Alabama) and Velus Jones Jr. (Tennessee)
