The usual headliners topped the list — Georgia quarterback Carson Beck, Auburn running back Jarquez Hunter, LSU offensive lineman Will Campbell, Tennessee EDGE James Pearce and Oklahoma linebacker Danny Stutsman — but there was plenty of talent from top to bottom.

Georgia led the way this year with 15 preseason All-SEC selections, including nine on offense, where Beck will look to lead a revamped group of pass-catchers. The Bulldogs heavily leaned on the transfer portal to secure more skill-position talent this offseason and judging by Thursday’s selections have succeeded.

Alabama, sans Nick Saban, finished with the second most players on the list with 14, proving there’s still title-caliber talent in Tuscaloosa.

Finally, Texas took home third for most representatives on the preseason All-SEC lists with 10. Quarterback Quinn Ewers led the way, while the Longhorns had five defensive players, three offensive players and two special teamers earning recognition.
