Four-star OL SJ Alofaituli commits to Miami over Michigan and Nebraska
Miami stays hot on the recruiting trail Friday, landing a commitment from another top target in Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman On300 offensive lineman SJ Alofaituli.
The four-star Alofaituli chose to play for head coach Mario Cristobal and his staff over his other finalists in Michigan and Nebraska.
“The Miami program has some great benefits,” Alofaituli said. “From medical to policies that take good care of me and lets my parents sleep well at night.”
“My personal favorite is academics.”
Alofaituli also looks forward to playing for Cristobal and offensive line coach Alex Mirabal. The Hurricanes program puts such an emphasis on offensive line play and Alofaituli certainly felt that as he went through his process.
The On3 Industry ranks Alofaituli as the nation’s No. 4 interior offensive lineman and No. 71 prospect overall. He is commit No. 17 for the Hurricanes in the 2025 cycle and becomes one of the jewels of a class that ranked No. 12 nationally prior to his announcement.
