Smael Mondon, Tate Ratledge injury updates: Georgia stars' status revealed on Wednesday injury report
Georgia and Mississippi State meet this Saturday in Athens for an SEC showdown between the hedges. As Georgia will look to keep their momentum going following a win over Auburn last week and Mississippi State seeks its SEC win of the season under new head coach Jeff Lebby.
It’s no secret that the battle between the Bulldogs heavily favors Georgia, who have won this matchup in all but two of the team’s last 15 meetings. But if the SEC has taught us anything this season, it’s that any team in the league can pull off an upset win on any given Saturday.
The college football regular season has officially reached the halfway point with Week 7 approaching this weekend. Which means that most teams are truly being tested from a health and depth standpoint on both sides of the ball.
With that in mind, the first initial injury report for Georgia and Mississippi State’s matchup this weekend has been released. Check out the status of each team’s injured players below in the official Wednesday injury report.

“Christen’s been able to practice,” Smart said. “Jared is still, Jared’s better than he was but not taking full-load reps. He’s taking some reps. He’s taking more than he was last week, but not full load. And Christen is taking reps.”
“Jordan’s trying to get out there and go, man,” Smart said. “He’s pushing so hard. I hate it for that kid because he’s had two rods, I mean a rod put in both legs and he’s out there frustrated. He’s doing more than he did last week, but I don’t know that I can say he’s ready to play this week.”
Both teams at full strength will surely make Saturday’s game reach its highest possible ceiling. As Thursday and Friday’s injury reports will surely be worth monitoring heading into this weekend in Athens.
