Smael Mondon, Tre Harris injury updates: Georgia at Ole Miss Thursday injury report revealed
The Georgia Bulldogs and Ole Miss Rebels are getting ready to meet in a massive game for each side. Ahead of this game with College Football Playoff implications, both sides shared their injury reports for Thursday.
By this point in the season, there are very few teams that aren’t dealing with several injuries or players who are banged up in some way. That’s true for Georgia and Ole Miss. One of the biggest question marks at this point for the Bulldogs is Smael Mondon, who will be key to slowing down the Ole Miss offense. Meanwhile, the Rebels had 26 players on their Wednesday injury report, including big names like Walter Nolen and Princely Umanmielen.

As of now, Georgia has some question marks about their health at the running back position. Roderick Robinson and Branson Robinson were ruled out already on Wednesday. Luckily, Trevor Etienne wasn’t listed on the Wednesday report at all after being knocked out of the Bulldogs’ win over Florida.
That came after head coach Kirby Smart shared that he’s confident in Trevor Etienne being good to go against Ole Miss.
“Etienne I feel good about,” Smart said. “He felt good yesterday and did some things yesterday with our guys. … The trainer feels good about him.”

For its part, Ole Miss does have concerns about their health on the defensive line. That includes star players like Walter Nolen and Princely Umanmielen, who both made appearances on the team’s Wednesday injury report.
Ole Miss has had, of course, its own issues at the running back position. Logan Diggs and Henry Parrish Jr. remain out. Parrish went down in the Arkansas game, with head coach Lane Kiffin later sharing, “Yeah, he’s out. That’s all I got.” Meanwhile, Diggs is set to miss the season and Matt Jones was doubtful on the Wednesday injury report.
All those injuries to the Ole Miss running backs make Kiffin’s offense run the risk of becoming one-dimensional. If that does happen, the Bulldogs should be in a good position to lean on their secondary to try and stop the explosive Ole Miss offense.
Ole Miss is set to host Georgia at 3:30 p.m. EST on Saturday, November 9th. The next will be released on Friday evening, around 8:00 p.m. EST. That means there is still time to see some change in who will be able to play in the game.
