The first SEC Media Days lineup since the expansion of the league to 16 teams has been announced, with the two newcomers set to anchor the heart of the rotation in Dallas.

SEC Media Days will take place from July 15-18 at the Omni Hotel in downtown Dallas.

It will be the first time the event is being held in Dallas. It will also be the fourth different location for the SEC’s premier preseason event, which has previously been hosted in Atlanta, Birmingham and Nashville.

A more detailed schedule will be released closer to the event, including television information, rotational breakdown and the student-athletes set to attend the event.

But for now we have a listing of the teams set to take place and which days they’ll participate on, so let’s check it out below.

As noted, the two league newcomers will be in the meat of the schedule, with Oklahoma set to participate on Tuesday, July 16, while Texas is set to participate a day later, on Wednesday, July 17. Both are likely to draw heavy interest after excellent 2023 campaigns.

But the entire lineup features plenty of intrigue for the fans.

LSU and third-year coach Brian Kelly will help kick things off on the opening day, while playoff hopeful Lane Kiffin and his Ole Miss Rebels will also take part on the first day in action at the SEC Media Days.

Powerhouse Georgia and coach Kirby Smart will be the feature on Day 2, though playoff hopeful Eli Drinkwitz and his Missouri squad will also be present and will likely get plenty of interest.

Day 3 features new Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer, who is taking over for legendary coach Nick Saban. He, along with Steve Sarkisian will be the main draws on Day 3, though there’s some intrigue with Florida coach Billy Napier drifting ever closer to the hot seat.
