Stanford's Oziyah Sellers plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal

Oziyah Sellers has spent all three of his collegiate seasons out on the west coast with two programs. Now, in consecutive offseasons, his name will be in the transfer portal.
Sellers plans to enter his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has learned. That’s after being one of the first undergraduate transfers into the Cardinal basketball program, along with two others from the previous cycle last year, in over a decade and a half this year.
Sellers started in all 35 games this season for Stanford. He averaged 13.7 points (45.1% FG, 40.1% 3PT), 2.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game in those appearances. That made him their second-leading scorer behind only one of the leading scorers in the entire sport this season in Maxime Raynaud (20.2 ppg).
That’s after Sellers spent a pair of seasons at USC. He appeared in 58 games and posted 3.4 points per game (44.6% FG, 38.7% 3PT) for the Trojans. However, he transferred last offseason, as one of seven total to enter the portal from their team, after the departure of Andy Enfield.
Sellers, a Castaic, California native, played high school basketball at Southern California Academy. He was a Top-150 prospect there as a three-star prospect in the 2022 cycle. He also rated as a Top-25 SG in the class and a Top-20 recruit out of the state. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

That had Seller as the lowest-rated in a class of four signees, behind Vincent Iwuchukwu, Tre White, and Kijani Wright, which rated at No. 8 in On3’s 2022 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Now, none of those players remain at ‘SC.
Sellers will now be the first entry into the portal for Stanford with the transfer cycle opening last week. That’ll have him in search for his third school ahead of his senior season next year.
