Jarin Stevenson seems to be more confident each time I see him. He doesn’t get in a rush, doesn’t force the issue, and makes the right read — whether that’s to score or kick it out. Also brings some rim protection. Showed strength battling in the post. He’s still putting it all together, but there’s a lot of upside here. North Carolina, Alabama, Virginia, and others are recruiting him. Says he’s “50/50” on reclassifying to 2023 or staying in 2024.
Trent Perry is a tough, scrappy guard with a high motor. He does a good job of getting his teammates involved and always defends at a high level. Can knock down the catch-and-shoot three. USC, Colorado, LMU, Vanderbilt, St. Mary’s, and others are recruiting him.
Pharaoh Compton showed toughness around the rim, playing out of the dunker’s spot. Enormous wingspan. Ferocious dunker.
Dylan Harper didn’t shoot the ball particularly well but it’s easy for him to make an impact without scoring. High IQ, great passer, understands the game. Great frame and really strong going to the basket. Considering Indiana, Duke, Rutgers, Auburn, and Kansas.
Bennett Basich was feeling it from deep today, connecting on several three pointers. High motor. Tough defensively. Makes the right play.
