Explosive pass rusher Kamron Wilson commits to Syracuse

Syracuse has landed a commitment from one of the nation’s most prolific pass rushers, adding Miami (Fla.) Southridge edge Kamron Wilson to the class.
The 6-foot-5, 215-pound Wilson chose to play for head coach Fran Brown and the Orange over an offer list that also included Illinois, Iowa, Florida State, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Minnesota and others.
Defensive coordinator Elijah Robinson and edge coach Nick Williams were also big in recruiting Wilson.

“The trust and relationship I had with the coaches,” Wilson said. “Great guys. I believe they could make me become a better man on and off the field and send me to the NFL so I’m so excited to play with my guy Coach Nick & Coach E. Fran Brown is my guy. He means all business so man I’m ready to get up there and work for a true freshman.”
As a junior Wilson racked up 118 tackles, 32 stops for loss and 17 sacks. He becomes commit No. 13 for Syracuse in the 2026 class.
“I’m very excited & blessed to be recruited by Coach Brown and the coaching staff,” Wilson recently told On3. “They always let me know I’m a top priority for them and I have a great relationship and bond with the coaches.”
That relationship and bond grew this weekend during a visit to campus. Now he’s in the fold.
On3 tab Wilson as the nation’s No. 42 edge rusher.
