Florida athlete E'Shawn Sutton commits to Syracuse and Fran Brown

Winter Park (Fla.) High athlete E’Shawn Sutton tells On3 he has committed to Syracuse.
The explosive 6-foot-1, 190-pound Sutton could play anything from running back, receiver and in the secondary on the next level. He chose to play for head coach Fran Brown and the ACC program over Pitt, Wake Forest and many others.
“It just felt like family and me and Coach Fran just connected beyond coaching wise,” Sutton said. “Our backgrounds are a little similar and the entire coaching staff makes me feel wanted.”
Sutton becomes commit No. 10 for Syracuse in the 2026 recruiting class.
“They are on the uprise and I feel like I could help contribute to that a lot,” Sutton said.
As a junior Sutton averaged over 10 yards per carry in gaining 302 yards and scoring six touchdowns. He has 11.1 speed in the 100m dash and also shined in the secondary.
