Four-star OL Takhyian Whitset commits to NC State

Nashville (Tenn.) Antioch On300 offensive tackle Takhyian Whitset tells On3 he has committed to NC State.
The former Purdue verbal also held scholarship offers from the likes of Florida State, Virginia Tech and Vanderbilt.
The 6-foot-5, 265-pound Whitset becomes commit No. 17 for head coach Dave Doeren and his staff in the 2025 cycle. Offensive line coach Garett Tujague was the lead recruiter.
“My relationship with Coach Tujague!” Whitset said of what stands out. “I fell in love with the city, the coaching staff, the program. The fans get loud in the stadium and they send linemen to the NFL.”
