Talented 2023 trio at Centennial High in California
Centennial High School in Corona, Calif. is rolling in 2021. After a 4-1 record in a shortened 2020 season due to COVID-19, the Huskies are off to a 8-0 start this season.
In their eight wins this season under head coach Matt Logan, Centennial is averaging 54.5 points per game. In game six, it scored 84-0 in a shutout win.
Jaden Mickey is the top senior prospect. The 2022 cornerback is committed to Notre Dame. Coach Logan has a trio of juniors that are pulling in big-time offers.
QB Israel Carter
Carter, known as “Izzy” by most, is a 6-foot-2, 187-pound dual-threat quarterback. Carter has played other positions in the past, so that tells you the type of athlete he is. Carter is still developing as a passer, but he is working hard to become one of the top quarterbacks in the state.
Oregon has offered, and that is a school that he grew up following. He has been in regular contact with the Ducks since the offer was extended a little over a month ago.
BYU, Colorado, Kansas, and Washington State have offered as well.
He visited UCLA recently, and the Bruins have been showing heavy interest.
WR Malachi Riley
Riley is a 6-2, 178-pound wide receiver with double-digit offers. He has already picked up in-state offers from Fresno State, UCLA, and USC. Some of the other offers are from schools like Arizona State, Georgia, Michigan State, and Oregon.
All schools are even for Riley, and he is in communication with most schools on his list once a week.
