Tate Ratledge injury update: Bulldogs OL's status revealed on Wednesday Georgia vs Alabama injury report
The biggest matchup of the college football season so far is slated for Saturday night in Tuscaloosa, when Alabama hosts Georgia for a Top 5 showdown. And both teams have some noteworthy injuries, including Bulldogs OL Tate Ratledge, who is listed as out.
Now, with the SEC releasing injury reports for Wednesday, the health situation for both squads comes into focus, for now. There’s still plenty of time before kickoff for things to change.
Check out the full Alabama and Georgia reports below.

The biggest injury to watch for the Crimson Tide is defensive back Malachi Moore, who suffered a concussion in Week 3 and has been working through the protocol during Alabama’s bye week. He returned to practice late last week, per Kalen DeBoer.
“I would expect Malachi — that was just a matter of time working through his situation,” DeBoer said Tuesday. “He’s out there practicing already at the end of last week.”
Moore has been a key member of the Alabama defense during his time in Tuscaloosa. This season has been no exception. The fifth-year senior has 16 combined tackles, including a tackle for loss, and two pass breakups this in just three games.

Georgia is also managing some defensive injuries, namely to star edge rusher Mykel Williams, as well as defensive lineman Warren Brinson.
As of Tuesday, head coach Kirby Smart wasn’t making formal declarations of their respective statuses for the weekend, but did share some encouraging updates. And with game day bearing down, both Brinson and Williams are in varying stages of their recoveries.
“Warren’s continued to practice, taking his rep load,” Smart said. “Mykel’s been able to do a little bit. I still don’t know timeline on Mykel. He’s looked good running and taking some reps, some light reps, some rush reps, some stuff he did today — it was his first day really getting out there and doing some things.”
Williams, for his part, is one of the top defenders in the country and considered one of the top draft prospects not only at edge rusher, but in the entire class. He’s been out since leaving Georgia’s Week 1 win with a Grade 2 ankle sprain, and was seen in a walking boot ahead of Week 2.
