Florida and Georgia are set to meet in a game that will carry different implications for both squads but will be highly important for each program. And the injury report looms large.

For the Gators, a win could mean finally silencing the noise surrounding coach Billy Napier and his tenure with the program following nearly two and a half years of relative mediocrity.

For the Bulldogs, a College Football Playoff berth is potentially on the line.

There’s a clear favorite in this one, as Georgia opened as an 18.5-point favorite over Florida. As they say, though, that’s why they play the games. Anything can happen.

Still, it’ll take a lot if Florida is to pull off the upset. And the health of both teams might have something to do with that.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at the Wednesday injury report for both teams below.

The big one on the injury report to monitor for Florida will be cornerback Jason Marshall. Marshall left the team’s most recent game against Kentucky with a shoulder injury and did not return.

He’s arguably Florida’s top cover corner, so his status on the injury report over the coming days will bear watching.

Georgia has a handful of players on the mend. Coach Kirby Smart provided an update on a couple of them earlier this week.

Smart first updated the status of starting offensive guard Tate Ratledge, who had tightrope surgery following the Kentucky game. He also touched on Jordan Hall.

“Both have ramped up in terms of reps,” Smart said. “Tate took quite a bit yesterday. I don’t know how many he took today, but I know it was more than yesterday because we had more available. But we’re trying to be smart in terms of his volume.”

And on Hall, prior to the injury report being released:

“Jordan’s done more,” Smart said. “He still has moments where it bothers him, but I thought yesterday was Jordan’s best day yet and I think that three days off really helped him. I have to watch today and see how he was. I don’t really remember.”

Georgia will be without defensive lineman Joseph Jonah-Anjonye, who was lost for the season due to injury.
