TCU receiver Rohan Fluellen enters NCAA transfer portal
TCU receiver Rohan Fluellen has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned.
Fluellen signed with TCU as a three-star recruit and the No. 94 receiver in the country in the class of 2023, per the On3 Industry rankings.
He did not see game action in 2023.
Prior to going to TCU, Rohan Fluellen attended Gilmer High School in Texas. When he signed with TCU, he spoke with KLTV about his decision.
“I visited TCU a lot of different times and I felt like the first time I just I fell in love with the place, all the facilities they had, the coaches. It was amazing,” Rohan Fluellen said in December of 2022.
“There’s a lot of people who helped me get here. I mean, my mom, my dad, first of all, I love them. They helped me get out to all the camps and helped me get out to all the coaches,” Fluellen said. “I mean, the coaches here at Gilmer, Sean Cooper, it’s just been… there’s really a lot of amazing people in my life that helped me get to this place where I’m at now.”
Alabama transfer center James Brockermeyer expected to commit to TCU
While TCU is losing a player to the transfer portal in Rohan Fluellen, the Horned Frogs are also expected to add one soon in James Brockermeyer. He is expected to commit to the TCU Horned Frogs, per a report by Matt Zenitz.
During his three seasons with the Crimson Tide, James Brockermeyer helped Alabama win 36 games and take two SEC conference titles.
James Brockermeyer played high school football at All Saints Episcopal (Texas), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 234 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Teammates at Alabama have noticed James Brockermeyer and his talent. In particular, defensive lineman Damon Payne praised him.
“James has been a dog ever since he got here,” Payne told reporters. “He’s one of those guys that’s never gonna stop. You may be sleeping on him, but he’s never gonna stop working. The reps have definitely gotten a lot harder with James. He’s definitely turned that switch on, as he always does. And I’m very happy for him and what he’s doing right now.”
This spring, James Brockermeyer worked with Alabama’s first team offense. Despite that, he still entered the Transfer Portal and ended up at TCU, where his twin brother Tommy Brockermeyer plays after transferring from Alabama.
Alabama, of course, is a program going through major changes right now. Head coach Nick Saban decided to retire following the 2023 season. He was then replaced by Kalen DeBoer, who previously coached the Washington Huskies.
