TCU WR, former Alabama player JoJo Earle enters NCAA Transfer Portal
TCU wide receiver and former Alabama Crimson Tide wideout JoJo Earle has officially entered the NCAA Transfer Portal on Saturday, according to On3’s Pete Nakos. This season, he hauled in seven catches for 31 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Earle spent two seasons with the Crimson Tide, playing as a slot receiver. He appeared in 20 games while in Tuscaloosa but mainly as a special teams player. During the 2022 season, JoJo Earle recorded 12 catches for 155 yards and two touchdowns.
JoJo Earle played high school football at Aledo (Texas), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 44 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Earle was a highly coveted prospect who played in the Under Armour All-America Game. His junior year of high school, he caught 84 passes for 1,601 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns, while also running for 429 yards and 11 touchdowns. As a sophomore, Earle shined yet again, hauling in 65 catches for 1,090 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns. As a runner, he had 266 rushing yards and three touchdowns. A dynamic athlete, Earle also competed in track and field in high school (100 meters, 200 meters, long jump, relays).

When Earle originally committed to Alabama out of high school, he committed to LSU, before flipping and switching to the Crimson Tide. It’ll be interesting to see where he ends up next.
