National Signing Day is more than 13 months away for 2026 recruits, but top prospects in the junior class are already flying off the board to make their commitments.

As of publication, 57 of the top 300 recruits in the updated On300 rankings are already pledged to a school, with that number only increasing by the day. While schools are still focused on finishing out their 2025 classes in the next few months, a few have already made major headway for next year.

Below are the schools with the most On300 commits early in the 2026 cycle:

Florida State – 6

Despite its massive on-field struggles this fall, Florida State hasn’t had the same issues on the recruiting trail with the junior class. They currently lead the country with six On300 commits, though it will be interesting to see what direction things go after this year’s 1-6 start to the season.

40) Izayia Williams – LB
50) Efrem White – ATH
66) Darryon Williams – ATH
197) Brady Smigiel – QB
272) Darryl Bell III – S
279) Tedarius Hughes – S

Penn State – 5

Penn State is one of a few programs nationally who identifies its recruiting board early, pushes hard for those targets and lands them. The Nittany Lions routinely have the most commitments early in a cycle, and they’re up near the top again in 2026 with three skill players and two linemen already on board.

23) Kevin Brown – IOL
130) Messiah Mickens – RB
213) Troy Huhn – QB
232) Jahsiear Rogers – WR
235) Daniel Jennings – EDGE

Oregon, Auburn – 4

Hugh Freeze has one of the best classes in the country in 2025, in spite of Auburn’s on-field issues during his tenure. The Tigers have made recruiting their own state a massive priority under him, and that’s evidenced by three of their four early commits hailing from the Yellowhammer State.

41) Hezekiah Harris – EDGE
99) Shadarius Toodle – LB
167) JaMichael Garrett – LB
268) Denairius Gray – WR

Up in Eugene, Dan Lanning and his staff are criss-crossing the country to land their elite recruiting classes. The Ducks’ average distance from campus per commitment is the highest in the country by a large margin in both the 2025 and 2026 cycles. But with the way things are working, there’s no reason to change. Oregon currently has four top-100 commits and plenty of buzz with other elite prospects in the junior class.

12) Kodi Greene – OT
21) Tony Cumberland – DL
92) Tradarian Ball – RB
94) Jonas Williams – QB
