Teams with the most committed 5-star recruits in the 2025 cycle

End-of-July recruiting visits are in the books as the nation’s top prospects turn toward their senior seasons this month.

Twenty-one of the 32 On3 Industry Ranking five-star prospects have already announced their college decisions. Those 21 recruits are spread amongst 10 programs.

Below are the schools that have reeled in a five-star recruit through early August in the 2025 cycle.

Alabama — 4 five-star commits

OT Ty Haywood
School: Denton (Texas) Ryan
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 11 NATL. (No. 2 OT)
Scouting Summary: “Explosive, powerful offensive tackle with high-end traits for the position. Measured in at around 6-foot-4.75, 297 pounds with 33 ⅞-inch arms and 10-inch hands at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Added around 15 pounds prior to his junior season. Shows encouraging movement skills in the camp setting. Doubles as a standout in track and field with a stellar 58-6 foot shot put throw as a junior. Transfers those physical attributes over to the field in a functional way. Works at left tackle for Denton Ryan, one of the top talent-producing high school programs in North Texas.

“Flashes very strong hands, stunning defensive linemen with his initial punch. Has strong grip strength and maintains his blocks. A bully in the run game. Shows good reactive quickness with moving laterally. Plays with a sturdy base and shows the ability to anchor on contact. Will need to continue honing his pass-set technique. Has some stiffness in his lower body and could stand to improve flexibility. Frame may project more as a maxed 315-pounder than at 325+. Has the skill set to project at multiple spots along the offensive line, but stacks up well among a loaded offensive tackle group in the 2025 cycle.”

WR Caleb Cunningham
School: Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County

Scouting Summary: “Bouncy outside receiver with the upside to become a skilled ball-winner. Measured at a shade 6-foot-2, 180 pounds with 32-inch arms and 9-inch hands prior to his senior season. Moves well at his size on film. Shows the ability to come down with catches in contested situations. Hangs in the air to come down with acrobatic grabs. Naturally coordinated and can locate the football at its highest point. Also shows some ability to make defenders miss after the catch. Increased his production as a junior, catching 48 passes for 1,138 yards and 14 touchdowns. Doubles as a fantastic high school basketball player, who has perhaps the best dunk reel among 2025 football prospects.

“Lives above the rim, throwing down electric dunks with regularity. Has considerable natural ability but will need to hone his technical skill at the position over the final few years of high school football, including expanding his route tree. Older for the cycle, turning 19 years-old as a senior. Has considerable upside with continued technical development.”

CB Dijon Lee
School: Mission Viejo (Calif.)

Scouting Summary: “Very tall cornerback with advanced awareness and feet in coverage. Measured at 6-foot-3.25, 187 pounds with 32-inch arms and 9.5-inch hands at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Battle-tested against top competition in one of the nation’s most competitive high school leagues. Rarely out of position in coverage. Technically sound when working off the line of scrimmage, using his hands to affect receivers. Good ball skills and ball production. Able to track and locate passes. Looks to understand route concepts and has been well coached. Skilled at reading quarterbacks, sometimes baiting them into ill-advised throws. Dangerous in zone coverage. A physical presence in defending the flats. Bodies ball carriers on contact.

“Top-end speed remains a question. His personal best in the 100 meters is an 11.53 over three seasons of track and field, but has a 46-foot triple jump. Arm length is good at the position, but below average for a 6-foot-3 corner. Ultimate upside as a corner will be largely determined by his improvements in long speed, but has the size and technical skills to be an impact player at the position. Also not of the cards he could end up as a safety long-term given his size and skills.”

QB Keelon Russell
School: Duncanville (Texas)

Scouting Summary: “Well-rounded quarterback prospect with dual-threat ability and a battle-teste resume. Measured at 6-foot-3 ⅛, 181 pounds with a 9 ⅝-inch hand at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Grew over half an inch as a junior. At the dials of one of the most talented offenses in high school football, leading Duncanville to back-to-back state titles in Texas highest classification as a sophomore and junior. Highly effective and efficient as a distributor. A good decision-maker who runs Duncanville’s offense at a high level. One of the most efficient quarterbacks in the 2025 cycle, completing 74.1% of his passes for 3,267 yards and 35 touchdowns against 3 interceptions over 15 games as a junior. Also rushed for 304 yards and 4 touchdowns. Shows good zip on his passes, particularly in the short and intermediate areas of the field. Shows the ability to step up in the pocket to avoid pressure.

“Good athlete as a runner. More dangerous as a rushing threat than his production would indicate. Effective as a scrambler and has a good feel for when to tuck it and run. Processes the game well and plays quickly mentally. Competitive and plays well in big moments. Should not have as big of an adjustment to the speed of the game as some of his peers, given his battle-tested resume. At his best when delivering from a set platform. Arm is good, but not truly when compared to his fellow top-rated peers. Plays with a loaded supporting cast that maximizes yards after the catch. Will need to continue getting bigger and stronger and could stand to loosen up his arm some, in order to aid in velocity when delivering from off-platform. One of the younger top quarterbacks in the 2025 cycle, with a late April birthday. Showed encouraging improvement during the off-season prior to his senior year.”

Ohio State — 3

CB Devin Sanchez
School: Houston North Shore

Scouting Summary: “Tall, athletic cornerback who boasts the most refined coverage skill set among top defensive backs in the 2025 cycle. Measured at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds with 32-inch arms at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Touts a strong size and speed combination, running 10.69 seconds in the 100 meters as a junior. Was a lockdown defender as a junior, making plays at a very high rate when targeted. Finished with 11 pass breakups and five interceptions. Comfortable in working on an island in man coverage. Has smooth and technical footwork. Shows instincts and ball skills. Does a great job staying attached on vertical routes. Even when he gives up a catch, still manages to be in good position. A one-way, specialized cornerback prospect who stars for one of the top high school football programs in the state of Texas. Will need to add physicality to his game as he tends to shy away from contact as a tackler. High-end traits and polish make him the safest bet in coverage in the cycle with his ceiling likely to be determined by his development as a run defender and open field tackler.”

QB Tavien St. Clair
School: Bellefontaine (Ohio)

Scouting Summary: “Smooth passer with prototypical physical tools that point to one of the higher developmental upsides among quarterbacks in the 2025 cycle. Measured in at 6-foot-3.75, 225 pounds with a 9.5-inch hand at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Added 15 pounds during his junior year. Looks like the most physically-developed top quarterback in the 2025 cycle. Has smooth and tight mechanics as a passer. Touts an easily replicable release. Consistently throws a tight spiral. Mechanical foundation makes him a naturally accurate passer when his timing is right. Has a plus arm and does not have to strain to generate ample velocity on his passes. A standout in the camp setting. Had a productive junior season, completing 70.6% of his passes for 3,083 yards (9.34 yards per attempt) and 37 touchdowns against 6 interceptions.

“Doubles as a solid runner who can pick up yards with his legs when called upon. Functional mobility gives him the ability to extend plays. Background as a three-sport athlete, also playing basketball and baseball before turning his focus on football. Shows above-the-rim bounce on the hardwood. The degree of improvement from his sophomore to junior years is indicative of an ascending prospect. Needs to continue honing his processing and decision-making. Internal clock can move fast at times and looks most comfortable throwing in the drill and on-air setting in live exposures to this point. Does not face top competition at the high school level. Improvement with his timing will put him in a position to be one of the top prospects in the cycle due to his significant physical upside and skilled passing ability.”

CB Na’eem Offord
School: Birmingham (Ala.) Parker

Scouting Summary: “Twitchy, highly coordinated athlete who projects as one of the top defensive back prospects in the 2025 cycle. Has 6-foot-1.25, 181-pounds with 31.5-inch arms. Registered as one of the top athletes on the spring camp circuit prior to his junior season. A three-phase playmaker on Friday nights, making plays as a corner, return man and offense as a receiver and ball carrier. Flashed instincts and ball skills at corner as a junior. Effective at triggering and jumping passes to make plays on the ball. Very loose in his lower body, making for high-level change of direction. Excellent ball tracker as a defensive back, showing the ability to locate the football over his shoulder. Closes quickly as a tackler in the flats. Has a playmaking element to his game, which can be seen as a punt returner, taking back multiple punts for touchdowns as a junior.

“Has outstanding balance with the ball in his hands. Turned in a strong junior season, picking off five passes and scoring 12 total touchdowns, scoring five different ways. Speed is good, but not elite at the position, so will need to continue improving his top gear. Posted an 11.09 second time in the 100 meters and went 21.97 in the 200 meters as a junior. Should continue improving with more time spent focused on working as a defensive back.”

LSU — 3

QB Bryce Underwood

Scouting Summary: “Premier arm talent who is one of the more gifted high school quarterback prospects in recent years. Combination of arm strength, pocket feel and processing ability makes him the top quarterback in the 2025 cycle. Owns a wide-shouldered frame, measuring in at 6-foot-4, 214 pounds with 10-inch hands at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Touts a big-time arm with the ability to drive the ball with velocity to all levels of the field. Has the ability to touch every area of the field with ease. Throws a very tight spiral that amplifies the velocity on the tail of his passes. Has shown advanced skill as a passer. Comfortable delivering over the middle of the field from within the pocket. Consistently sticks the ball on receivers against tight coverage. Shows the ability to layer passes with touch and high-level location, especially downfield. Demonstrates the best pocket presence in the cycle entering the senior season.

“A vertical mover in the pocket who navigates pressure at a level well beyond his years. Has rhythmic feet when operating within structure. Doubles as a run threat with the ability to make defenders miss in space. Arguably the most accomplished quarterback in the cycle, touting a 40-2 record as a starter with two state titles entering his senior season. Completed 65% of his passes for 3,329 yards (12.1 yards per attempt) and 41 touchdowns against 3 interceptions as a junior. Has longer arms and has a tendency to drop his elbow at times within his throwing motion. Team often raced out to big leads, allowing for fewer high-leverage and playmaking opportunities as a junior. Very young for the cycle with an August birthday and could technically be a 2026 prospect. Has considerable physical upside and room for continued growth.”

CB DJ Pickett
School: Zephyrhills (Fla.)

Scouting Summary: “Dynamic, explosive two-way playmaker who looks like one of the top defensive back prospects in the 2025 cycle, with the highest upside coming as a cornerback. A big-time two-way player as a receiver and defensive back. Tall and long with a thinner build, measuring at 6-foot-4, 179 pounds at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Has elite length for the position with 33 ⅝-inch arms. An extremely twitchy athlete who also excels in track and field. Turned in sensational marks in the 100 meters (10.62 seconds) and 200 meters (21.69 seconds) as a sophomore. A natural playmaker on Friday nights. Pairs his plus athleticism and easy movement skills with high level instincts and ball skills. Has elite range as a deep safety. Reads and jumps routes to make plays on the ball. Has fluid feet and is a loose mover, increasing optimism about the projection to corner.

“Looks to be the most physical top cornerback prospect in the 2025 cycle, flying downhill and delivering big hits on ball carriers. Doubles as a game-breaking receiver with the ability to take the top off of defenses and come down with acrobatic contested catches. Finished his junior season with 1,033 receiving yards, 15 touchdowns and one interception. Was ranked as a safety early on, but projects as a legitimate high-end cornerback prospect and is talented enough to be considered a blue-chip wide receiver. Will need to gain experience if he converts to corner, primarily having been a safety at the high school level. A bit older for the cycle, with a May birthday. Will need to continue adding good mass to his leaner frame once in college. Has significant upside as a potential early contributor and high NFL Draft pick.”

RB Harlem Berry
School: Metairie (La.) St. Martin’s Episcopal

Scouting Summary: “The most electric running back in the 2025 cycle, with the ability to be a game-changer in the passing game. Possesses elite burst and effortless movement skills. Measured in at 5-foot-10, 182 pounds at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. . Transfers his outstanding top end speed onto the field in a functional way. A threat to take it to the house on any touch. A light, springy mover who shifts gears and changes directions at full speed. Displays outstanding vision. Reads blocks and bursts through the line to the second level. The game moves slow for him at the prep level. Runs through contact and shows balance that belies his size. Showcased advanced pass catching skills during the summer prior to his senior season. Has the skill level to legitimately line up at receiver. A massive mismatch out of the backfield when covered by linebackers. Registers as a high end athlete with elite speed on the track and in the combine setting.

“Won state titles in the 100 and 200 meters as a sophomore with times of 10.57 seconds and 21.43 seconds, respectively. Highly productive over his high school career. Rushed for 2,080 yards and 37 touchdowns on 13.2 yards per carry as a junior. Has a smaller frame and will need to continue adding good mass in order to carry a substantial load at the next level. Ceiling as a true every down back will be determined by his ability to put on weight while maintaining his athleticism. Has a later birthday for the cycle, turning 17 years old in late May of his junior year.”

Georgia — 3

EDGE Isaiah Gibson
School: Warner Robins (Ga.)

Scouting Summary: “Big EDGE prospect who creates a mismatch with his combination of rare physical traits, athleticism and power. Measured in at 6-foot-3.25, 263 pounds at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Has elite length and a big frame, sporting 35-inch arms and 10.5 hands. Added 25 pounds in the offseason prior to his senior season. Runs well in the combine setting. Translates his physical ability over to the field while playing top competition on Friday nights. Highly disruptive and productive working as a defensive end at his high school, oftentimes lining up as a standup pass rusher. Finished his junior season with 17 sacks. Converts speed to power with ease. Knifes through the offensive line as a straight line rusher. Fights through blocks with ease. Shows the ability to beat double teams and finish with sacks.

“Has outstanding closing speed and is a violent finisher. Uses his length to corral ball carriers, sometimes with just one hand. Able to generate sacks that some others can’t due to his power and finishing ability. Shows speed and effort in pursuit. Also projects as a high-end edge setter due to his size and strength. Also plays basketball, showing his athleticism as a rim protector and dunker. Will need to continue honing his technical skill set as a pass rusher, adding moves to his repertoire. Could end up outgrowing the position with his large frame. Has a highly projectable skill set that points to an NFL future and the upside of being an early round pick.”

TE Elyiss Williams
School: Folkston (Ga.) Camden County

Scouting Summary: “Massive tight end with arguably the largest catch radius in the 2025 cycle. Measured in at a shade under 6-foot-7 and around 245 pounds prior to his senior season. Has plus length with arms that measure around 34 inches with large hands. Plays in a wing-T offense at the high school level. Lines up split out wide, detached and in-line. Was primarily targeted on vertical and downfield routes as a junior. Has mismatch ability as a jump ball target. Comes down with catches in crowds of three or four defenders. Made strides with his ball skills as a junior. Shows the ability to track throws over his shoulder. Fluid mover and is coordinated, especially at his size. Able to stretch the seam. Tough to bring down in the open field. Shows good contact balance in breaking tackles. Has a nasty stiff arm. Finished with 25 catches for 530 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior. Shows upside as a blocker. Has good play strength and doesn’t shy away from contact.

“Understands body positioning. Doubles as a top high school basketball player. Was a 1,000+ point scorer in just 2.5 years of varsity action and was regional player of the year as a junior. Needs a runway to get separation due to his longer stride length. Will need to improve quickness, change of direction and release to project as a high-level separator at the position, particularly in the intermediate area of the field. A physically-gifted in-line tight end whose ceiling will be determined by his ability to separate at all levels.”

LB Zayden Walker
School: Ellaville (Ga.) Schley County

Scouting Summary: “The early front-runner for top EDGE prospect in the 2025 cycle as a rising junior. An unverified 6-foot-2, 220 pounds. Flashes a high-end combination of on-field athleticism and functional play strength. Lines up in both two and three-point stances off the edge. Shows noticeable first-step quickness off the snap. Very strong at the point of attack. Plays with excellent leverage and uses his strong lower body to move offensive linemen both as a bull rusher and run defender.

“Makes some eye-popping plays in pursuit, showcasing high-end athleticism in tracking down ball carriers from the back side. Doubles as a dangerous running back, using his athleticism and strength to pick up yards after contact. Helped his team to a state title appearance as a sophomore.”

Oregon — 3

WR Dakorien Moore
School: Duncanville (Texas)

Scouting Summary: “Skilled, athletic wide receiver who has separated himself as the top pass-catcher in the 2025 cycle. Possesses an extremely well-rounded skill set. Measured in at 5-foot-10 ⅞, 186 pounds with 31 ⅝-inch arms at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Has very large hands for his size, at 10.25 inches. A dynamic track athlete, running a scintillating 10.40 second time in the 100 meters along with a long jump over 24 feet. Also tests well in the combine setting. Shows a refined and well-rounded skill set as a receiver both on Friday nights and in the camp setting. Harnesses his great top end speed with change of direction and lateral agility, making for consistent separation. Has the long speed to separate deep and take the top off of defenses.

“Shifty after the catch and uses his field vision to find open space, sometimes cutting back across the field. Ferocious ball-winner at the catch point, using his bounce and strong hands to consistently come down with jump balls. Plays much bigger than his size and has a large catch radius. Highly productive as a junior, while leading his team to a second straight state title in Texas’ largest classification, catching 69 passes for 1,486 yards (21.5 yards per catch) and 18 touchdowns. Does not have prototypical size as an outside receiver, but has the athleticism and skills to compensate. Looks like an immediate impact player and one with a high long-term ceiling.”

S Trey McNutt
School: Shaker Heights (Ohio)

Scouting Summary: “Competitive safety who has a case as the most well-rounded prospect at the position in the 2025 cycle. Measured at 5-foot-11.5, 183 pounds with 31.5-inch arms and 9.5-inch hands at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior year. A two-way playmaker at the high school level, starring as a safety, corner and slot receiver. Runs well, turning in six sub 11.0 second times in the 100 meters as a junior, with most coming in the 10.9 range. Can be a force player in the run game, play center field or cover receivers and tight ends out of the slot.

“Diagnoses well. Physical with and more than willing to lower his shoulder. Flows downhill with vigor and shows good tackling technique in the open field, driving through ball carriers. Has very good ball skills as a safety prospect. Broke up 12 passes as a junior and is capable of making one-handed catches on offense. A long-strider in the open field. A competitor with the play personality you desire on defense. May not be truly overwhelming in one area, but has a well-rounded skill set as a true safety. Can continue improving his trigger and break on the ball in coverage.”

WR Dallas Wilson
School: Tampa Bay Tech
On3 Industry Ranking: “Twitchy wide receiver with the ability to win at the catch point and some of the best after-catch ability in the cycle. Measured in at 6-foot-2.75, 193 pounds with 32.5-inch arms and 10-inch hands at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. A good athlete who runs well in the combine setting. Shows a well-rounded skill set on Friday nights. A functional athlete who has a noticeable bounce in his movement. Shows quick feet with the ability to cut on a dime. Physical and flashes strong hands at the catch point. Attacks the ball in high-point situations. Outstanding after the catch. Sticks his foot in the ground and gets upfield quickly.

“Has great contact balance and breaks arm tackles. Dangerous when working underneath and over the middle of the field. Caught 49 passes for 879 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior. Will need to continue adding polish to his game. Projects as a versatile X receiver with the ability to threaten all areas of the field.”

Florida State — IOL Solomon Thomas
School: Jacksonville (Fla.) Raines

Scouting Summary: “Big-bodied, physical offensive lineman with versatility and one of the higher floors in what is a loaded cycle at the position. Measured in at around 6-foot-3.5, 315 pounds prior to his senior season. Touts elite length with 35.75-inch arms. Has a barrel-chested build with solid weight distribution. Lines up at tackle for his high school but likely has the highest upside as a guard long-term. Very stout at the point of attack. Plays with a strong base and has pop in his hands on contact. Detonates defensive linemen and linebackers with his punch. Plays with a physical edge and works to finish blocks. Has good technical ability in pass protection. Held up well in a 1-on-1 matchup against 2024 five-star defensive lineman LJ McCray as a junior. A solid, not overwhelming athlete. Can continue to improve his lateral agility and reactive quickness. Has the skill level to potentially get on the field early in his college career given his strength and battle-tested resume.”

Texas A&M — QB Husan Longstreet
School: Corona (Calif.) Centennial

Scouting Summary: “Top arm talent with arguably the strongest arm in the 2025 cycle. Has an absolute flamethrower attached to his right arm. Owns a compact build at a shade under 6-foot-1, 195 pounds prior to his senior season. Muscled with little to no fat on his body. Has the largest hands among blue-chip quarterbacks in the cycle that measure at 11 inches. Capable of touching all areas of the field with his phenomenal arm strength. Passes have considerable velocity. Throws with a whippy ¾ to sidearm delivery. Plays in an uptempo offense at the offensive level that utilizes RPO’s. Makes eye-popping downfield throws, ripping passes down the seam from 40 yards out. Can stick the ball on covered receivers who are seemingly unguarded. Shows the ability to go through reads and attack the middle of the field. A twitchy mover who also presents a run threat on designed runs and on scrambles. Makes defenders miss in space. Turned in back-to-back strong seasons as a sophomore and junior. Transferred to Corona Centennial as a junior and fared well against top competition, completing 66.8% of his passes for 3,013 yards (10.1 yards per attempt), 24 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. Also rushed for 645 yards and 7 touchdowns. Doesn’t have great stature when projecting him as a pocket operator and can continue improving his consistency and ability to layer his passes. Combination of elite arm talent and athleticism gives him one of the highest ceilings among 2025 quarterback prospects.”

Missouri — QB Matt Zollers
School: Royersford (Pa.) Spring-Ford

Scouting Summary: “Live-armed quarterback with the physical tools, athleticism and instincts to make him the top reactive playmaker at the position in 2025 entering the senior season. Measured in at 6-foot-3.5, 203 pounds with 9 ⅞-inch hands at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Was a relative late riser onto the national recruiting scene, by way of a breakout junior campaign. A highly instinctive playmaker, capable of hurting defenses with his arm and legs. Touts a very live arm. Capable of ripping throws to the boundary with velocity. Threw passes well over 60 yards in-air as a junior. Has the arm strength to stretch the field with ease. A bouncy, twitchy athlete who thrives in the face of pressure. Able to evade pass rushers and keep his eyes downfield. Shows strong spatial awareness in locating open receivers with defenders in his face. A tough player who plays through contact in the pocket. Tests as a top athlete in the combine setting and transfers that speed onto the field where he presents a run threat as an improviser and on designed runs. Was efficient and productive as a junior, passing for 2,917 yards (10.1 yards per attempt) and 37 touchdowns against two picks. Also rushed for 420 yards and 7 touchdowns. Also plays basketball as a key contributor on a team that made a deep playoff run. Will need to continue adding consistency with his mechanics and overall polish as he matriculates to the college level. The combination of high-end tools and instinctive play style give him one of the higher ceilings among 2025 quarterbacks.”

Scouting Summary: “Polished, productive signal caller with the skill set of an accurate distributor.
