An eventful July along the recruiting trail is coming to a close as high school football players around the country gear up for another season on the gridiron.

Seventy-nine of the top 100 prospects in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies — have already announced their college decisions. Those 79 recruits are spread amongst 20 different Power 4 programs.

Below are the schools that have reeled in a top-100 commitment in the 2025 cycle.

Ohio State — 10 top-100 commits

A trio of five-star recruits lead the way for Ryan Day’s 2025 class. Located just 55 minutes northwest of Ohio Stadium, Bellefontaine (Ohio) quarterback Tavien St. Clair pledged to the Buckeyes over a year ago and rates as a Five-Star Plus+ prospect — a recruit ranked as five stars by every recruiting service. He’s joined by two elite defensive backs: Houston North Shore Five-Star Plus+ cornerback Devin Sanchez and Birmingham (Ala.) Parker Five-Star Plus+ cornerback Na’eem Offord.

Just outside of five-star range is McKinney (Texas) four-star linebacker Riley Pettijohn, the No. 34 prospect in the 2025 class. Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer four-star offensive tackle Carter Lowe, Olney (Md.) Good Counsel four-star safety Faheem Delane, Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic four-star wide receiver Quincy Porter, Philadelphia Imhotep four-star EDGE Zahir Mathis, Port Saint Lucie (Fla.) Vero Beach four-star linebacker Tarvos Alford and Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph four-star athlete Bo Jackson all rank inside the top 100.

Alabama — 9

The middle of July was especially electric for the Crimson Tide, as Alabama landed Denton (Texas) Ruan five-star offensive tackle Ty Haywood and Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County five-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham on consecutive days. Those two headline this class for ‘Bama along with fellow five-stars Dijon Lee (cornerback) and Keelon Russell (quarterback).

Eastman (Ga.) Dodge County four-star athlete and top-50 recruit Darrell Johnson pledged to Alabama back in March. Just outside of the top 50 at No. 51 is Cincinnati Winton Woods EDGE Justin Hill, who committed to Alabama over Ohio State on July 3. Additional top-100 commits include IMG Academy offensive lineman Michael Carroll, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star cornerback Chuck McDonald and Carmel (Calif.) four-star offensive tackle Jackson Lloyd.

LSU — 8

The nation’s best prospect — Belleville (Mich.) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Bryce Underwood — committed to LSU in January over nearby Michigan. He’s joined in the five-star ranks by Zephyrhills (Fla.) Five-Star Plus+ cornerback DJ Pickett and Metairie (La.) St. Martin’s Episcopal five-star running back Harlem Berry.

After a 2024 recruiting class that heavily featured the state of Louisiana, the remainder of LSU’s top-100 commits come from all across the country. That list includes: Las Vegas Bishop Gorman four-star wide receiver Derek Meadows, Laurel (Miss.) offensive lineman Tyler Miller, Indianapolis Warren Central four-star EDGE Damien Shanklin, Marion (Ark.) four-star offensive lineman Carius Curne and Houston North Shore four-star linebacker Charles Ross.

Georgia — 6

A familiar face at the top of recruiting rankings under Kirby Smart, it is no surprise that Georgia has accumulated multiple top-100 recruits through the end of July. Warner Robins (Ga.) EDGE Isaiah Gibson, Folkston (Ga.) Camden County tight end Elyiss Williams and Ellaville (Ga.) Schley County linebacker Zayden Walker each rank as five-star prospects.

Moving around the country east of the Mississippi River, the Bulldogs’ three remaining top-100 commits are Geneva (Ill.) Community four-star wide receiver Talyn Taylor, Chester (Va.) Thomas Dale four-star cornerback Shamari Earls and Hillside (N.J.) four-star EDGE Darren Ikinnagbon. Earls was one of five Georgia commits to join the class in the month of July.

Clemson — 6

Things have been somewhat quiet of late for Dabo Swinney’s staff on the recruiting trail, but perhaps that is because of the impressive head start the Tigers got on this class. Of Clemson’s six top-100 commits, all but one pledged to the Tigers prior to the end of March.

Durham (N.C.) Southern four-star defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell and Norfolk (Va.) Maury four-star EDGE Ari Watford committed five days apart back in January. Lake City (S.C.) South Florence four-star defensive lineman Amare Adams and Lynchburg (Va.) Liberty Christian Academy four-star running back Gideon Davidson both committed in the previous calendar year. More recently, Cedartown (Ga.) four-star safety Tae Harris joined the class in March while Greensboro (N.C.) Grimsley four-star EDGE Bryce Davis committed just nine days ago.

Tennessee — 5

The Volunteer State’s own four-star quarterback George MacIntyre committed to Tennessee on Jan. 22 and has been leading recruiting efforts for the Vols’ 2025 class ever since.

Las Vegas Bishop Gorman four-star offensive lineman Douglas Utu and Elkhart (Ind.) Central four-star EDGE Mariyon Dye — Nos. 2 and 3 in the class — both pledged last month. Atlanta Westlake four-star wide receiver Travis Smith is one of the most recent commitments for Tennessee, having announced his decision earlier this month.

Auburn — 4

Auburn has been on fire in recruiting over the last few days since ‘Big Cat Weekend’ — the Tigers’ annual end-of-July recruiting weekend. Auburn flipped Selma (Ala.) Southside top-100 athlete Derick Smith away from Alabama on Monday before landing Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson four-star safety Anquon Fegans later the same day.

Enterprise (Ala.) four-star safety Eric Winters and Opelika (Ala.) four-star defensive lineman Malik Autry joined the class in June and February, respectively.

Oregon — 4

The Ducks made a huge splash on the Fourth of July when they landed onetime LSU commit, Duncanville (Texas) Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Dakorien Moore. It should prove to be a deadly receiver corps in future Eugene, as Tampa Bay Tech five-star wideout Dallas Wilson has been committed to Oregon since January 2023.

Conroe (Texas) four-star cornerback Dorian Brew ranks just outside of the five-stars at No. 35 and Owings Mills (Md.) McDonogh four-star cornerback Brandon Finney pledged to Oregon last month.

Florida State — 4

Florida State has had a heck of a summer on the recruiting trail with eight of its 13 commits joining the class since the start of June. In terms of top-100 commitments, that includes Milton (Ga.) four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley and Lucas (Texas) Lovejoy four-star wide receiver Daylan McCutcheon, who committed in June and July respectively.

Jacksonville (Fla.) Raines five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas headlines the class and committed back in December. Cocoa (Fla.) EDGE Javion Hilson ranks No. 40 overall in the 2025 class.

Miami — 3

Each of Miami’s top-100 commitments have come in the month of July.

Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin four-star safety and former USC commit Hylton Stubbs committed to Miami on the Fourth of July, now headlining the Hurricanes’ class. He’s joined in the top 100 by Las Vegas Bishop Gorman four-star offensive lineman SJ Alofaituli and New Iberia (La.) Westgate four-star cornerback Jaboree Antoine.

Michigan — 3

Oak Park (Ill.) Fenwick four-star defensive lineman Nate Marshall broke Michigan’s recruiting dry spell following the national championship and kickstarted a recruiting run that has seen the Wolverines jump into the top 15 of the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange four-star safety Ivan Taylor flipped from Notre Dame on July 8 hours before Center Valley (Pa.) Southern Lehigh four-star tight end Andrew Olesh pledged to the Maize and Blue.

Missouri — 3

Mizzou ranks No. 16 overall in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings with help from three top-100 prospects.

Royersford (Pa.) Spring-Ford five-star quarterback Matt Zollers chose the Tigers over Penn State, Pitt and Georgia back in April. He’s helped out on offense by Mesquite (Texas) Horn four-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers and IMG Academy four-star wide receiver Donovan Olugbode.

Texas A&M — 3

Corona (Calif.) Centennial five-star quarterback Husan Longstreet committed to Texas A&M back in April before recently shooting up the recruiting rankings following a stellar outing at the Elite 11 Finals in Los Angeles.

Lancaster (Calif.) Quartz Hill four-star cornerback Adonyss Currie and La Verne (Calif.) Bonita four-star linebacker Noah Mikhail both joined the class this summer.

Texas — 3

Texarkana (Texas) Pleasant Grove four-star EDGE Lance Jackson ranks No. 37 nationally and has led the Longhorns’ 2025 class since committing on Jan. 21.

Houston Alief Hastings four-star EDGE Smith Orogbo committed to Texas earlier this month. Dallas Skyline four-star linebacker Elijah Barnes added his name to the commit list in April.

Notre Dame — 2

Notre Dame got off to the fastest start in the 2025 cycle, at one point leading all programs in total number of commits in the 2025 class. Lucedale (Miss.) George County four-star quarterback Deuce Knight has, much like Husan Longstreet, seen a bump in the recruiting rankings following the Elite 11 Finals.

Wallingford (Conn.) Choate Rosemary Hall four-star offensive tackle Will Black pledged to the Irish in December. He ranks as a five-star prospect and No. 2 overall in the 2025 On300.

USC — 2

USC has fallen victim to the decommitment bug in this cycle when it comes to top-100 recruits. Justus Terry, Isaiah Gibson, Anquon Fegans and Hylton Stubbs were all at one time pledged to the Trojans.

Nonetheless, USC has a pair of top-100 prospects still standing strong with the Cardinal and Gold. Carrollton (Ga.) five-star quarterback Julian Lewis committed to Southern Cal in August 2023 while San Clemente (Calif.) four-star linebacker Matai Tagoa’i joined the class in April.

Remaining teams with top-100 commits

Goodland (Kan.) five-star tight end Linkon Cure chose to stay home on July 1 when he committed to the Kansas State Wildcats.

Orlando Jones four-star wide receiver Vernell Brown III ranks No. 33 overall in the 2025 class and pledged to Florida just eight days ago.

Jesup (Ga.) Wayne County linebacker Tavion Wallace — brother of NFL linebacker and former Kentucky player Trevin Wallace — made his commitment to Arkansas on July 2.

Cypress (Texas) Bridgeland four-star offensive tackle Ryan Fodje announced his decision to commit to Oklahoma back on Feb. 4.
