Tennessee fan lands in jail after storming field during Florida game

College football games often offer fans the chance to make once-in-a-lifetime memories at various points, though one Tennessee fan might have made his in unconventional fashion on Saturday night in a game between Florida and Tennessee.
Dylan Duggan, a 27-year-old Tennessee fan, apparently got bored of the action during the fourth quarter and opted to spice things up.
The fan jumped over the wall in the Swamp and eluded a handful of police and uniformed security officers manning the sidelines and sprinted onto the field. With outstretched arms — and a rolling phone camera — Duggan began his cruise out onto the field, disrupting play.
You can check out the full video of the Tennessee fan’s joy run below.
Duggan was booked into the Alachua County Jail after officers caught up with him and escorted him off the field. He was charged with first-degree misdemeanor trespassing as a result of the incident.
Court dockets detailing the arrest had not yet been uploaded to the Alachua County Clerk of Court website on Sunday evening.

Ending mars Florida-Tennessee game
While Duggan provided a moment of levity in the heated rivalry game, things would get chippy in the final moments.
Florida was up 13 points with time winding down, but Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel called a timeout as fourth down approached for the Gators’ offense just as the stadium and sideline started to celebrate their win.
Instead, the Gators had to kneel the ball one last time, and as their quarterback Graham Mertz took a knee after letting some time expire, he took an illegal hit from a Tennessee player that resulted in a bench-clearing, physical altercation between the two teams to end the night.
Heupel was seen apologizing to Florida coach Billy Napier after the game, and he explained the sequence as well.
“That sequence right there, we’re trying to get the ball back, right?” Heupel said. “Trying to take a shot at the endzone. I don’t know if we’re gonna have enough time for an onside and maybe get it and get a shot back, but you’re trying to finish and compete the right way. He’s dancing around. Do you want the targeting? Obviously not, but the guy’s dancing around, so you’ve got to go tackle the guy too. So, do we want to be composed in that situation and all situations? Absolutely.”
