Tennessee vs. Missouri odds: Early point spread released on Volunteers, Tigers
Tennessee and Missouri both find themselves in the thick of the SEC East race behind Georgia this season. Now, they’re on a collision course for a Nov. 11 showdown in Columbia in Week 11, and the oddsmakers in Las Vegas have weighed in with the early point spread.
Missouri is a 1.5-point home favorite in the game, according to FanDuel, and the over-under is set at 55.5.
The Tigers are coming off a tough loss to Georgia this week in Athens in a back-and-forth affair. Brady Cook threw for 212 yards and a touchdown, but two interceptions proved costly as Georgia came away with the 30-21 victory to create at least a little bit of separation in the division standings.
After the game, Kirby Smart made sure to credit Mizzou for its performance, which didn’t make things easy on Georgia at all.
“A great job, first, by Missouri,” Smart told CBS’ Amanda Guerra. “They’ve got a really good football team. Eli and his staff do a great job. Our kids were resilient. They believed in the discipline we had to play with to win, we made plays when we had to. There’s a lot we can work on. I’m excited.”

As for Tennessee, the Vols took a break from SEC play and flew past UConn 59-3 on Saturday. Joe Milton threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns, but the big story was Nico Iamaleava, who entered the game and threw for his first career touchdown.
Josh Heupel discussed Iamaleava’s appearance after the game, and he pointed out the lack of snaps for players off the bench this year. In his brief time, though, the former five-star recruit looked strong — even if it wasn’t perfect.
“Just the way the season’s unfolded, we haven’t had a lot of opportunities for guys that are a little bit down our depth chart and are not starting to get some of that action,” Heupel said in his postgame press conference. “Nico went out, I thought he handled all parts of the game really well for the most part. There was a couple learning opportunities for him. I thought he was timely using his feet. Accurate with the football for the most part. A couple of things he would want back. Really solid performance from him.”
Tennessee and Missouri will kick off Nov. 11 from Memorial Stadium. The game time had not been announced as of publication.
